Well, you've read the notes, you've combed through the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the combed cows come home.

I'm watching "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."  He always seems to really be enjoying himself and that makes me enjoy his shows, too.  That's one thing I like about him as opposed to Jay or David. :)

TOD:
I never used gunk in my hair, either. But for a time as a youth I used "Head & Shoulders" shampoo. I didn't have dandruff; I guess I was just influenced by all the television ads. Until my pediatrician told me that if you didn't HAVE dandruff, using "Head & Shoulders" could CAUSE it. Don't know to this day if that is true or not, but haven't used it since. I don't know if they even still produce it.

I guess I used a comb at home, but I never carried one with me.

Good morning, all!  I slept well, with one long dream about the show MATILDA, which I have no urge to see and God alone knows why I dreamed about that! Earlier, I had an unsettling nightmare; i remember waking around 1:30, alarmed and happy to be awake.

Today, I will head down to Toyland around 9:30 or so, I have a rehearsal with ur leading man, the actress playing his bitch fiancee, and the actor playing the other man.  We should be finished around 3:00, and I will head back uptown.

I got this email yesterday from the incinnati Men's Chorus conductor about the choral piece I arranged:
The arrangement sounds FABULOUS!!!  The guys just love singing it and the nicest thing is that the voicing is smooth and well-written.  You would be amazed and saddened by the lack of quality writing for men's chorus lately; few people know how to write well with good voice-leading and interesting yet not-too-complicated harmonies.  We just read it last week and, after working through all three sections, the guys wanted to sing it through AGAIN!

I guess they're happy. I have to get some work on the orchestration this morning. I'd like to post it by Friday.

More coffee!

Good morning, all.

I think it's safe to say the worst is over, last night having been that very worst what with feeling slightly feverish and all.  But that broke in the middle of the night, and it's such a wonderful thing to recognize that you've just turned the corner.

Thanks to DR DAKOTA CELT for the link to the letter from the dean's lawyer.....and I liked the newspaper's caveat at the top: "We stand by the article we published."  I never received a response to my email about the situation.

It seems that a lot of the employees in salons these days pride themselves in giving haircuts that almost require goop in your hair in order for the cuts to look right.

Tuesday morning greetings!  The big thaw is beginning here in SW Ohio, but overnight re-freeze has caused some problems.  When it warms up a bit, I'm going to the book sale site and to do some other errands.
