Were we down for about 30-45 minutes? I could not get onto the board.

I couldn't either.

Sorry to hear about your fall. :(

A-a-and now we're not scheduled to leave Atlanta until we were originally supposed to arrive in Dayton.

It's going to be a loooooong day! Go to the closest bookstore in the terminal and buy a looooong book.

Sympathies!

What a hellish traveling season this is turning out to be.

Maybe it's altogether no worse than other winters, but it's just...bizarre.

That's the only thing that can keep me sane while sitting on a plane, or waiting for it in the first place.  VIBES DR Ginny has plenty to read!

Yeah, I'm afraid so, DR Elmore.  This is the second delay and I'm holding my breath that it's not canceled all together. I already have a long book on my iPad - Laura Hillenbrand's UNBROKEN.

Wrote three pages, finished the chapter I was on, and now am beginning the big penultimate chapter of the book.  I've already written some rough things for this chapter all along - just so I wouldn't forget anything.  So, once I begin it should flow easily, at least that's the hope.  This chapter will be a bit longer than any of the others.

Neither could I and then I had to leave to get my bones tested.  I hope that horrid med I have to take improved them.

Thank you, all. for the concern about my slipping and sliding in this morning's snow. You should all know me well enough after 10 years of griping, boasting, grieving, and laughing with all of you on this site that if I were in pain or really injured myself, I'd make a novel of it.

Oy!

Hello, all!

I made it to another day off, thankfully. The weather alone here is enough to wear anyone out.

Two more weeks and I'm home.  Missing friends.... and Kritzerland too. It's been a little solitary up north. I'm ready to be done here.

BK, Congrats on the recording. Sorry that all the musicians were not quite on the mark, but I know you'll fix that and it will be wonderful. I look forward to hearing it!

Also, Have a Great Krtizerland show tonight!! Wish I could be there!!

If you are a fan of erotic noirish thrillers (e.g. BODY HEAT), I think you will enjoy my newest release,
THE AMUSEMENT.  It's available in paperback and on Kindle through Amazon and elsewhere.

Here's a look at the trailer:

And, here's the link to the book on Amazon:

Intriguing. :)

And here are my adventures so far this morning:  I walked to my bank on Broadway, and as I was crossing the street, I hit a slick patch and nearly fell. I did my banking and decided to cancel physical therapy, run my errands and get home. I got a nice taxi driver who drove me to the post office and I mailed my letters and packages, came out of the post office and slid and fell into the snow. I got a taxi to the pharmacy and picked up my meds, caught a bus, stopped at the metro station at 72nd Street to refill my Metrocard, and took a taxi to Staples, where I nearly fell again, and we'll see if the ink cartridge is the problem with my printer's color. It was an easy walk home fem there.  The only uncleared sidewalk on Broadway? The Bank of America at 81st and Broadway. I hope someone falls and sues them.

I am all wet but I am home unbroken. I doubt I will be heading out again today.

Stay home and relax, Larry.  You deserve it.

DR Jennifer congratulations on your win.  The doughnut sounds intriguing.

This is the site: http://lechedesserts.ca/our-donoughts.html

They show pictures but don't say which doughnut is which. But they were all apparently delicious.

If you right-click on the doughnut picture and "save-as," the file name tells you which kind they are. ;)

Thanks for the vibes, DRs John G and George, but we're now delayed 90 minutes more, which adds up to a 3-hour delay.
