SpiceDaddy, how do you know that ryacko even knows a ditty.

I figure if he sings in the Kritzerland evenings, he knows a ditty. Or three.   :)

I figured out a way to temporarily block the hole until Sunday when the carpenter say's he'll be here. Hope it will work

Trapper came and took the traps.  I paid him in cash.  He looked at me like I was doing something wrong, lol.  It's not like I can deduct animal trapping expense, so I don't care about writing a check

;D

There was a little squirrel sitting by my other bedroom window this morning, I rapped on the window and it jumped about 4 feet straight into the air and ran away.  Got a chuckle out of that

The cats are acting totally normal and have been all week.  That tells me more than checking the empty traps day after day.  She and her kits are long gone.  It looks like rain, though.  That's when she came the first time

Looks like we made it.....   Barry Manilow was my favorite as I went through puberty and now as I go through menopause I finally get to see him.  Maybe TMI, but it really made me laugh when I thought of that today.

Instead if an orchestra, there's an eight-piece band. And a lot of '80s music.

Nice Nicky Photo yesterday DR TCB!!

Thank you Jrand.  I wanted to prove to everyone that Nicky did have eyeballs.  The previous photo made him looked like he was stuffed.  Oh, Nicky said he wanted to congratulate you on being cast.

Those who've read the third Kritzer book know that I was aware of Mr. Kander before Mr. Ebb - the musical A Family Affair, which I saw at a small theater on Santa Monica Blvd. in its first production after the unsuccessful Broadway one.  I remember it vividly - Terry Becker was in it, John Gabriel, and Suzy someone whose last name escapes me right at this moment (she was in the film of West Side Story).

Nominating 3 people on Big Brother sounds like a nifty change.

A few years ago I picked up some homegrown DVDrs of season 1 of Big Brother...watched a couple of episodes...the show was way lower budget back then...but at the time it first aired I just loved it! Still have fond memories of some of the season one contestants...'specially Brittany...but not so much Chicken George.

Of course CBS acts as if season one of that show never existed.

I sort of remember how different it was. Didn't America vote out who they wanted? And they kept getting rid of all the interesting people.

One day, DR Jane, I am going to plan my Los Angeles trip to happen while Big Brother is airing, and then I will have you plead with your cousin to let me get a behind the scenes look at the goings on.  8)

Or a seat at the live evictions. That would be very cool.

In the Interesting Juxtapositions Department, this morning I encountered a dude that looked like this:

With this blasting out of his motorcycle stereo system:

Hilarity ensued.    ;D

My first time in a leather bar was in San Francisco in 1971 or 72.  I remember it was a Monday Night, because Monday Night was Barbara Stanwyck Night, and all of these leather boys were sitting there, eating their popcorn, with tears running down their faces as they watched some Stanwyck classic where she was the wronged woman.

DR John, I don't think you were here when DR Jason was posting. He is the guy at the merchandise booth.

Home from rehearsal.  The warm evening is comfortable with just a fan blowing, I'm noshing on some Trader Joe's Quinoa and Black Bean Tortilla Chips, and TCM is on in the background.  Wish I'd been equipped to record the whole evening's offerings.  Will make that happen soon.

This organic salsa is ... interesting.  Okay, but could be quite a bit better.  Kind of a strange balance of flavors.  I don't care about it being organic, I tried this one because of its looks.  I guess I'm still on the hunt for that perfect one.  Of course what I should be doing is making it myself.
