And with that, I bid you all a good early Sunday night, since I must enjoy a good solid sleep before going E&T till probably sometime tomorrow afternoon when I will attempt to peek in and ketchup.  After tomorrow, back to normal again for a whilst.

As soon as I was alerted to Kate, I checked and spotted her real e-mail right away - I confirmed it with KevinH.  I'm afraid that if people want to register they simply have to write me - that's very simple to do here.  Unfortunately, until we switch over the site with new software nothing can be added to it, including a notice for people.  We may even change the discussion board software.

And Hello, Dolly! the wretched and misbegotten production I saw last week gets not a rave but certainly a pass from the Washington Post - are these people just afraid to take on this director and his productions?  Because I've just lost what sliver of respect I had for Peter Marks.  You can read through this and see just how misbegotten it is.

I used a Jello mix - and instead of making one pie  I made 36 mini cupcake  size cheesecakes - for one dozen of them I put a layer of carmel on the crust before  adding the cheese cake filling  then  drizzled a little carmel on top and a few slivered almonds

for the 2nd dozen a put a layer of strawberry jam on the crust before adding the filling and then topped them with half a strawberry

the last dozen I left plain but topped with a fresh blackberry

they came out well and looked pretty -

No the church is pretty much wheelchair accessible, but the problem is the parking.  There are only a couple of handicap spots and a heck of a lot of old people.

Do the correct people at the church know why you can't attend?

Actually, I don't even know the new minister.  Our former minister "retired" quite suddenly.

the trifle I made with Birds custard -  i should have made it yesterday and let it set overnight as the custard was too thin and never set really properly

I  put half an angel food cake on the bottom of the trifle dish and cut some angel food to fill in the hole in the middle

I took some strawberry  preserves and thinned it with some sherry and spread that angel food  layer then  a layer of halved fresh strawberries,  blackberries and blueberries - then I poured on the custard - another layer of cake and fruit -  it looked beautiful  ( I should have photographed it!)  but the custard never set properly and  when I served it the custard was too soupy - it tasted Ok though

I have half left  - I stuck it in the fridge when we got home maybe it'll set overnight

I suspect the new minister may not know of you then -  I would suggest you call the church office and explain you r situation -  if he is worth his cloth he will find a way of helping you

The dinner was not ready when promised  and the coffee table was covered with dishes of  chips and dips and shrimp and sauce and cheese and crackers etc  so I was rather sad I had obeyed orders  and  had not made Skip's eggs

I got up early and drove to my parents house.  I was to meet them after church and if I arrived early, I know the code to get in the garage and they were going to leave the back door open.  Well, they forgot to unlock the back door.  More likely mom unlocked it and dad checked it and locked it before they left.  It was no big deal I just read the paper in my car until they arrived home

Then we went to the Gingham Inn for the best chicken with my brother, sil, Samantha, Dash and Don.   It thought the chicken tasted a little too floury today, but it was still good.  After that we went to Sam and Don's house and had carrot cupcakes that Sam made for us.  It was a lot of fun to see Dash.  I'll post some photos later.  He's crawling all over the place right now. He really looks like the E-Trade baby lol
