In other news....I bought 4 boxes of girl scout cookies today....

Thanks.     I don;t have a logical reason, i was just assuming that the opposite parties were among the "guests" based on some info that was coming back (like one of them had known about a trip I was going to take which I had posted about on here) so i guess i got scared to post.  I was following and pretty much always made sure to get back for boirthdays, though.

Last night the vixter and I went to the local high school production of The Drowsy Chaperone

We jhad seen it , and loved it , on Broadway and were not expecting much last night

But we were pleasantly surprised

except for the bakers/wiseguys who were the weakest links the show was beautifully cast and the kids (especially the Man in the chair and the Chaperone)  were amazing

These have become my favorite brand of hot dogs.

 by time we got home from the show I was exhausted I started to sign in here and fell asleep almost straight away

The Vixter and I had a meeting at church  at 10 am

then we went o lunch

then shopping for coffee hour , which we are hosting tomorrow morning

then back to church to put away the stuff  for the coffee hour and to sort out  items we have been collecting four our 'socks and sandwiches" trip coming up next week

I did not get anything much accomplished today other than laundry and some shopping at the DOLLAR TREE store.


DOLLAR TREE had some swell $1 dvds...I picked up a 10 episode set of both MARCUS WELBY MD and THE 1969 series THE BILL COSBY SHOW and a set of 20 or so episodes of black and white JOHNNY CARSON SHOW episodes.

the kitchen and serving area are all inthe basement and because of various issues it all had to be torn out and redone - it took nearly a year and tons of volunteers and fundraising to getthe job done and today was the grand reopening

I finished watching a nice Bollywood horror film, now I am deciding if it is too early to go to bed or should I stya up and watch GORGO or something similar.

the Vixter and I went to be supportive because a retired minister who is a memeber of our congregation has been serving as their interim Pastor since their Pastor retired and now they have a new interim Pastor who was a longtime member of our congregation  who became a Pastor after  retiring from the Police force

then the Vixter went to work and I went grocery shopping

I finished watching a nice Bollywood horror film, now I am deciding if it is too early to go to bed or should I stya up and watch GORGO or something similar.

Which Bollywood films did you mention the other day we should all see?  Was it a mystery like Sherlock Holmes?
