CARPENTER ANTS

Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of carpenter ants, and now it is time for you to post until the carpenter cows come home - they're currently singing Rainy Days and MOOndays.

Woke up early as usual at 5.00 after 6 hours sleep. Had a cup of tea and fell asleep again until 9.00 which is something I never do and which has ruined my day's routine.

I feel pretty good this morning, went to sleep at 8:30 last night.  Tonight also, maybe for the rest of the week.

So the day's routine continues.

Off to work.

Coffee, water, and saltine crackers for the drive.  Yum.

Must go to the market.

I've just spent part of the morning configuring my new (used) computer at the office. My old PC was starting to die and someone, a few months ago, was unceremoniously dumped. She will not be replaced and she was in our Department so I asked and received her computer. I got it yesterday afternoon and this morning it looks like my old PC thanks to tweaking and tinkering.

That's why I hadn't posted earlier.

That'll be me, next Tuesday.  I'd put it off a bit but I've already done that twice.

Ask BK

Does the DC trip include anything that people might join for, or is it just work stuff?

The conflict with my own rehearsals and running up against tech week -- not to mention travel time -- would probably knock me out of anything, but I couldn't not ask.

Good morning, all! I slept late, and it is the sleeping pill, so I must stop taking them.

I plan to spend the day here dinishing the Moross BIG COUNTRY Suite, I will step out to Staples and look at new calculators; if I order the same model I had from Amazon, it won't be here before Mnday, and on Monday I'll be in New Jersey. If I purchase it at Staples, I can bring it home, set it up, finish Moross and go back to the tallies.

DR ChasSmith, I'm so glad you asked about DC. I was afraid I'd missed something in a post or notes and I, too, was curious.

I also need to call my barber about an appointment for tomorrow. And that's my day.

More coffee!

Wednesday.

MR BK's carpenter ants are in my bathroom now.....but I will use my Special Spray to get rid of them.  I found them behind the door last night.....where they thought they were hidden from view!!!

I have always used PC's.....I do have a Mac G4 that I purchased on EBAY.....it is the old flower pot base design from the 1990's which I bought because it looks so neat....  It runs fine....but there is a slight learning curve.  I haven't been tempted to go MAC even though my MOST creative friends all use them......

Maybe someday.  I have been so happy with my last two SONY PC's that I have no reason to change....but time will tell.

I will go in the next couple of days to see my friends Diane and Bill in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? in Bloomington.....I like the play and I like them and I like the person I am going with, so it should be a nice evening.

Love it.  I've been wanting to take out and enjoy the original cast LP of that and some other plays for a while now.

Soon.

I don't think I've listened to these things in three decades.  And that is just wrong.

We watched the 2 hour 2nd season premiere of SMASH last night.

Very disappointing.

I have my new calculator; it was $15 higher than the Amazon price but, after shipping and handling, I think I came out ahead at Staples.

And to work.

Here's a trailer I just completed for a fellow writer.  The music is by my son, David.

Recognize it, BK?
