Well, you've read the notes, the notes looked back, and now it is time for you to post until the looking back cows come home.

Thursday morning greetings!  Wow, usually I have to be in Europe or recovering from surgery to make the first post after BK!  I woke up at 6:15 fully refreshed and thinking about all the things I have to do before we actually DO leave for England.  First item on today's agenda:  bake a pecan pie for our nephew Christopher.  He's home in Cincinnati from the Air Force and we're going to his parents' house for dinner tonight.

Good morning, all.

Yesterday was a second Monday for the week. So, for it to be Thursday is great.

Travel vibes for those moving around and vibes for the rest.

Thanks for the heads-up, BK. I'm looking forward to The Well-Digger's Daughter. Love Pagnol.

Good morning, all.

Survived the ugly blast of ugly precip -- even got a bunch of it cleared with the snow blower.

Coffee!

It's cold but beautiful with the moon, and everything is crystal clear and clean from the rain.

Trying to stay home tonight and order some cd's.   And put my laundry away.   And take out the trash.
Have not been home at night for days.    It's been a fun xmas holiday.

Thursday and the roads are being cleared - things are getting better - road wise.  I still think I will stay in one more day and let the roads and parking lots get even better before venturing out.

We had rain and winds but no snow on Long Island. I don't think there was any snow in Manhattan either but I'm not there so I don't know.

We may come back today or we may come back tomorrow. We are being driven in by Anthony's father so it depends on what he wants to do.

We had a very nice day visiting a dear friend yesterday. We also went shopping for things like canned goods and other non-perishables (they are cheaper on LI) which is why we will be driven into the city. It's hard to buy all that stuff and then drag it home on the train.

Cillaliz, thanks for sharing the goods news about Sharon. And vibes of comfort for Paul and his family.

When I saw this I realized I hadn't read last night's late posts...

DR Cillaliz, thanks for sharing both the good news and the bad.  Best to Sharon and condolences to Paul.

TOD:

I am really enjoying the USA network shows Royal Pains, White Collar, Covert Affairs and Suits.

Since we don't get the USA network, I watch on Showcase. We are up to date with Royal Pains and Suits. But we are only part way thru S3 of Covert Affairs. And we will S4 of White Collar in January.

But these are four shows I love.
