How many movies did you get to this weekend?

I went to Lincoln.  I didn't see any others in the theater.  I did see The Girl.  Hitchcock comes off as a total jerk.

I also watched the first part of Ken Burns' The Dust Bowl.

We had flute choir rehearsal today.  It went ok, but between flute choir, our two band concerts with different music at each and my flute solo Christmas eve, I've got a ton to practice.  I'm doing better than last year, but haven't totally gotten my confidence back.  SO, I'll practice a lot and hope that helps

Now I need to sleep.  I have a quick court appearance at 9:00 AM then it's a work day at the office.  My brother has some cases in town, so he's going stop for lunch.  That will be nice.

Wasn't quite a frenzy, but was at least a mini-frenzy.   Night TCB!

I began writing the commentary - only a third of the way through but I should be able to finish tomorrow.  I had to do the Facebook event page for the Kritzerland show and that just takes forever since you have to invite people one by one.  So infuriating.

It's snowing at Snoqualmie Pass!  When I came home from work yesterday, it was quite chilly.  I haven't heard if there's going to be snow in the lower levels, but it's getting cold out.

Possible T.O.D. (Topic of Discussion, not Topic of the Day)

It is Thanksgiving Day, you are at some familiar place for dinner.  It can be  your childhood home, a relative's home, or maybe even your current home.  Wherever you are all the food sitting on the table is perfect (mom, for once, did not burn the mashed potatoes).  Suddenly time freezes for everyone in the house, but you.  You are now free to sit down and pig out on one item on the Thanksgiving table, with no guilt, no repercussions, and no calories.

What is the one dish you pig out on?

My fave:  fresh hot rolls with real butter.

Pecan pie!

I love pecan pie!  I haven't had it in quite a while...and I can't remember the last time I had homemade pecan pie. :-\

I took my Mom to Panera for lunch - they were advertising a "Big Kids" grilled cheese and tomato soup

They had photos everywhere of a thick cheese sandwich with  "thick cut apple wood smoked bacon" and a bowl of soup

The handed a me a tiny squished  sandwich with NO bacon and a cardboard cup of soup  -- I asked the sandwich maker  counter person  if this was correct - and asked for a bowl of soup like in the photo and she told me they were too busy!!

I did something I never do -  I walked back to the register where all the photos were and showed the woman my meal and the photo and said  " I am very unhappy - please look at this photo and the meal I have just been served and tell me if you see  ANY similarity"

She looked at the picture - looked at my tray - looked at my face and said - One moment Ma'am I will get the manager

OH I forgot to mention there was supposed to be a meld of several different types of cheese -  I clearly had  2 slices of American

The manager came out - looked at my plate and the picture  said ?"well the bread is wrong ..."

"Yes I asked for different  type of bread - but lets look inside the sandwich - NO bacon and clearly  no blend of cheeses....and lets look at the bowl of soup on the advertisement and the miniscucle PAPER cup of soup I was given ..."

"Ma'am, you are absolutely correct -  i am so sorry - please sit down and I will bring you the correct meal"

Which he did -  and it was delicious

I don't understand why I had to go through that  however -  I usually have a  very good experience at Panera

I got an e-mail from Panera about the new grilled cheese...it looks good in the pictures.  If I go, I'll make sure I remember what happened to you and, if necessary, do the same thing! :D

I've been uploading season one's episodes to Broadway World and the major press release will hit tomorrow.  If you're a subscriber to our You Tube channel, I've gotten B'way World to implement the same function on their site - our own channel to which you can subscribe and get notification of updates and new episodes.  So, it will work exactly as You Tube works.

Great!  BK, do you know if they have a hi-def option, like on YouTube?

I sat down at a piano at approximately 10:00am on Saturday morning and got up from another piano at approximately 9:00pm this eve. Besides sleeping, or driving, Ive been playing all weekend. My upper arms are a bit sore, this shouldn't happen.

I was talking to an old friend in Arizona (Sun City) tonight, and he wondered why in the heck I wanted a 50 inch TV, if all I like to watch is sports.  I told him that with the 32 inch TV I can't quite see the players' underwear; so I need to try a larger set.

Good answer! Good answer!
