DR TCB read the descriptions under "caramel" apples.  This link is from my small local Rocky Mountain Chocolate store.

I am having such a hard time trying to find a cat sitter.  And I worry about what happens if there is a snow storm when I'm gone.  With Sharon I didn't worry, but I don't know with other people.  So I'm going to go out to http://www.dogwoodpethotel.com/index.html and check out their cat wing.   I may be able to have all three cats stay in the same suite.  There is a live in caretaker so if there is a storm someone is there to care for the animals.  It's worth checking out.  It seems to be more dog oriented, but they have a cat wing, so I'm thinking this may not be bad.

I hope this works out so you don't have to worry about your cats getting sick while you are gone.

I'm up, I'm up.  I was awakened by a telephonic call from Michael Sterling of Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal.  His guest on his radio show cancelled and he asked if I'd come in to replace and I said I'd be happy to.  So, I have to be in the studio, which is in the Oaks of Sherman, by about twelve-thirty.  Which means if I'm to eat before six I have to go grab something at eleven or so.  That's probably okay - just a quick sandwich will be good.

Yesterday was a very busy day for me...I had to do my self-evaluation (ever the procrastinator).  I also had some normal work to do, so I really didn't have any chance for any ketchuping on HHW.

As for Halloween in Tumwater, I didn't go home after work.  I went to my sister's and my parents were there (no one came to my sister's house).  We played Phase 10 and then Scrabble.  I won Scrabble...probably only the second time that that's ever happened! :D

Halloween confusing coming up--the township has infomed up that Trick Or Treating will happen on Saturday.  But Governor Christie has announced that Trick Or Treating in New Jersey will be this comin Monday.  I'm willing to bet that this will results in massive double-dipping.

Is anyone watching "Pwoject Wunway All Stars"?

Tonight is the second episode.  Last week, Peach Carr was sent home. (She never should have been on it in the first place as she has a very limited approach to design and zero flexibility, it seems).

Tonight, I'm wondering if the "real" Ivy Higa will be on display.  She's one of the all-time great villains of Project Runway, alongside Wendy Pepper and Angela whatshername and Gretchen whatsehername.

Last week, Ivy seemed to have acknowledged that she was in a very bad place during her PR season and was out to make amends.  In her first challenge, she was wonderful and her outfit was the best work she's ever done on the show.

Previews, however, seemed premonitory....as in Elton Johns' "The Bitch is Back".

Because Mitt Romney
  1.  knows that New York is a pro-Obama state, he's ignoring the devastation in Manhattan and environs,
  2.  has made photo-ops of doing charity work for victims in the swng states where he might gain some votes,
  3.  has until quite recently been very much against FEMA,
I have no problem with posting this. It's funny, and pretty accurate if you're running for president of the fraternity!

Me with the leading men....

me, David who plays John Proctor, Rick who plays Rev Parris, and Will who plays Rev Hale.  You can sort of see how the onstage seating is going to work.

Thursday afternoon greetings!  Today was Richard's official pre-op visit with the podiatrist who's going to operate on his foot in 2 weeks.  We had to leave for Dayton at 8:30am and it took quite a while.  Had coffee afterwards at the Starbucks nearby and ran into a former library co-worker, also now-retired.  We did a couple of errands on the way home and I had lunch and tried to take a nap to make up for being awake since 4:45 this morning.  My left foot kept cramping, so I gave up on the nap and am now trying to do some desk work.

What role is Mrs Cryer playing?  Rebecca Nurse?
