Good morning.

I'll have you all know I had a pretty damned fine night's sleep, with my customary weird dreams, the only one of which I can even begin to recall now had to do with some abstraction to the end passage of the LAWRENCE OF ARABIA overture.

I'd been chilly the night and morning before, so indulgently left the heat on through the night.  It got to be just a bit much by morning, but felt good anyway.  Not to mention anyhoo.

I actually turned on the fireplace for a while today, just to take the chill off.

Busy day. First book signing, which will be at an olive orchard in the area. That's bookended by judging a food truck cook-off this morning and a margarita competition tonight.

How exciting.  I wish I could be there.

I forgot to mention Penny stopped by for a short, but sweet, visit yesterday morning.

DR TCB - I don't have HAVE ROCKET, WILL TRAVEL and can't seem to find a place to download it.....maybe it will show up on TCM sooner or later.

I wonder why it is so hard to find?

This morning I was greeted with a big long hug by a three year old.

They are all out for the evening attending a wedding.  Eli will be a flower girl along with her cousin who is the daughter of the bride.

And in a few hours, DR MBarnum will be kidnapping taking me around for the day. In the meantime, I think I'm just going to enjoy the quiet morning in my hotel room. I had thought about heading to Voodoo Doughnut, but I think I need a Day Without Doughnuts. But that could change.

And when you stab the voodoo donut with the pretzel stake that comes with it, it bleeds red jam.

I'm up and shall shortly be on my way to do errands and whatnot.

Make enough whatnot to go around!

Hi - last two performances of Legally Blonde tonight and tomorrow afternoon. I'm ready to move on.  Speaking of which, we auditioned A Christmas Carol - the Musical today.   Decent audition day.   DP and I are going out for some 'Pho.  I hope I know what to do....

Well, I'm off to the Washington Center for the Performing Arts to usher for The Manhattan Transfer!!  I've seen them in concert many times, but this is the first time that they're in Olymia.  It'll be fantastic!
