DR ChasSmith, the estimated time for the reading, I've been told, is now at 2:15 on Monday.

Looks like I can make it.  I'll probably get there a little earlier, if that's okay.

If anyone says anything or asks questions, tell them you're my guest. I look forward to seeing you. Almost all ofthecast has done either the initial reading or the Hilton Head production. The actor taking David Lutken's role is unfamiliar to me; David's doing a show outoftown at the moment.

We're adding two new numbers tomorrow.

And whilst I wait for the imminent arrival of DR MBarnum...

Here's a short film(?) that some members of the cast of the recent mini-tour of The King & I:

MADE: I want to be a Siamese Wife in The King and I

*And there's a special guest appearance by the one and only Baayork Lee!

**And you can also get a glimpse of the actress playing "Eliza" in my upcoming production of My Fair Lady.

***And if you don't get the "MADE" reference, well, it's one of those MTV things. ;) -I had to look it up myself.

And I think I'm going to mosey on down to the lobby and await the arrival of said DR MBarnum. He's still a little about 20 minutes away, I guess, but I also have to make some phone calls.

I used to take Amtrack between Tacoma and Portland on a regular basis.  I always enjoyed that trip
.

That sounds like a nice trip.  I wish the train came our way so I could ride it north.

DR Jose did you say where you are staying in Portland?  Had I been able to go I would have stayed with our friends who are currently at our house.

From DR Laura:
Quote
By the way, ten years ago I formally adopted Joshie. He had been a foster that failed adoptions (he growled at everyone), and they let me keep him for the cost of his rabies shot to clear him off their books. I paid it on my birthday on purpose. A birthday gift for myself. Best $11 I ever spent.

And in a few hours, DR MBarnum will be kidnapping taking me around for the day. In the meantime, I think I'm just going to enjoy the quiet morning in my hotel room. I had thought about heading to Voodoo Doughnut, but I think I need a Day Without Doughnuts. But that could change. ;)

I was very disappointed in the doughnut's once I finally got to taste them.  I was very glad I decided not to wait in the hour line.  They were ok but, to me, not worth the lines for them.

Have a fun day exploring areas you didn't expect to see, that is when DR MBarnum takes unplanned side trips ;)

Back from an omelet and a bagel, errands and whatnot, picking up no packages and an important envelope, banking, and now I'm in and must write a blurb, create a show order, and begin commentary.  Just scored a great seat for Book of Mormon here the last week of October.

Page two?  Sorry, this will have to change right NOW.  Ten pages of posts yesterday, two pages of posts (barely) today.  We'd best have a frenzy or three.

I am getting ready for my dinner date. I hope it will be fun. I haven't seen Helen (Elena) in around 35 years and I have no idea who this friend of hers may be. He's preparing the dinner, and i have no idea what's on the menu!

And the word of the day is: HEMATIC!

Didn't Johnny Carson used to say, "....that the jar was HEMATICally sealed and left on Funk and Wagnall's porch since noon today!"
