Well, you've read the notes, the notes were exotic, and now it is time for you to post until the exotic cows come home.

Good morning, all! I gt to bed about 90 minutes later than I usually do, s I slept in for an hour. I was having another Drama Book shop dream when the alarm rang. I knew it was a dream, because I was caught up on all of my work there! So much of my time working there was spent tracking every penny on a shipment that I felt buried under nickels and dimes. There was much I loved about the job and I still miss a lot of my co-workers there.

I will shortly board a bus for Toyland, stopping at the post office on my way to post my estimated taxes and my other monthly payments. Today, I will work on BALLET BALLADS  and perhaps the revisions to the opening sequence of the Appalachian show.

Tonight, I'm meeting my actor friend Alex Rice for dinner. I haven't seen him since last Christmas, and he's now a Carnegie Mellon graduate lookng for work as an actor. It will be nice to catch up.

Speaking of nice, it's nice to see that DR cillaliz is back.

DR John G, which production of ANNA KARENINA was this? Who played Anna? Also, how dd you know "There Ain't No Flies On Me" was cut? I didn't miss it.

And that's my day. More coffee!

I forgot to mention Reginald Marsh! BK, I have been collecting books on Marsh. In 1925, he designed the intermission curtain for DEAREST ENEMY, and it was mentioned in all of the reviews for its quality and wit. I am hoping that he kept a sketch or sketches for his design because it's the one aspect of the original DEAREST ENEMY designs not documented.

As for the Topic of the Day...

"Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger" - I still remember seeing this at a drive-in with my family... In the rain... Twice... My dad ven bought that "shelter" that was basically sheets of plastic and suction cups to help(?) keep the rain off of the windshield.

"Jason and the Argonauts"
"Clash of the Titans" - When Harry Hamlin washes up shirtless on th beach, well... That was exotic. ::)

And...

Some rain moved through earlier, which helped to sleep in another hour or so. However, I had sort of semi-planned to head out to Boston Common in the early hours to take pics. I guess not. But now that it has cleared up, I'm gonna take my bike out for a spin along the Charles River and then over to Cambridge.

Laters...

It's a beautiful early fall day in New York. The temperature is around 60 and will climb to the mid-70s.

I have to go to the library and return some DVDs and pick up Mati Hari with Garbo and Navarro. We will watch it tonight.

Tomorrow we may watch Hop, the animated Easter Bunny film.

I had a haircut at 8am this morning and then I went to the Greenmarket for a scone for our breakfast tomorrow morning.

I have continued my indoor biking (Jose is doing outdoors, I'm indoors) with 45 minutes a day (after the hour earlier in the week).

That's all for now.

Saturday morning greetings!  I was up quite early, reading and drinking coffee.  Richard and I are going to the Y and then grocery shopping early enough to be home in time for Michigan's 3:30pm kickoff against Massachusetts.

Greetings from Toyland! I've opened the windows and started up the fans. It is indeed a beautiful morning in Manhattan, and I've accomplished all of my necessary tasks.

this morning I awoke to Boo hiding in the bathtub and Callie hiding in the basement and Ricky stalking both of them.   I don't know if it was just kitty hide and seek, but I kept him away from them until I got the food out, windows open, brushing done.  Now he's calmed down, so the others are calm.  Sheesh!

Our show was most entertaining last night.  The audience was laughing from beginning to the end!  Very enjoyable to be in and, I am assuming, to watch.

DR JRand62, I'm hoping for a reference DVD to observe the effects of people behaving oddly on an assembled group of people.
