Done, Mr. Matthei!

DR Ginny, hope you enjoy the banter!!!  :)

DR Matthew, I think it's a very clever way to have social media interaction with students without opening up your entire life to them.  I may recommend this to some of my teacher friends...

I feel it is my duty to report that the gutter cleaning people just came, did their thing, and left.

I feel it is my duty to report that, being the first Wednesday of the month, our emergency sirens were just tested and they work just fine.

Just finishing my listening of Illya Darling.  I love this score very much.  One wonders if it is produce-able in these days and times.

A video sing and dance for Nudie would be lovely, if I only knew what it was.

I'm up.  I fell asleep around one, awoke around two, fell asleep around three, and just got up at ten-thirty.  Somehow I think I got eight hours in there.

JohnG, we would have sold out last Friday, but a dealer who had a significant number of CDs being held never communicated with me, so I put those back in stock.  When it does sell out, which will be soon, you can bet that I will instantly be inundated with e-mails saying, "I JUST hear about!"

I have a question for Ask BK Day:

As I read about them, I've been pleased to find I already have some things from your Varese days in my collection.  In finishing "Album Produced by...", I know there are certain other titles I'll absolutely want to have, so the question is:

How should one acquire pre-Kritzerland items in a way that properly benefits you?

Let me know what you want - I have a lot of the titles here.  Also, we just sent you a soft cover of There's Mel to replace your lost package - I went to get another hardcover and we're out - so read the softcover and in a week I'll send you the hardcover, which is on its way.

It's a quiet day so I trimmed the front hedges and cleaned out the inside of the motor car. Then back to watching the Olympics.

WOW - hopefully THE NUTTY PROFESSOR is worthy of such praise.  I think a Holmes/Hamlisch musical sounds more appealing to me than some other "composers" that keep getting - uh - stuff produced on the Great White Way.

At least you didn't get stuck on a zip line like the London mayor. That footage was a hoot. It was also what I was scared most of when I did a zip line. That and going too fast when approaching the landing stage.

Since END OF THE RAINBOW is so popular here:

Did I ever post the special lyric "Tracie Bennett" had for Judy Garland's 90th birthday?

THE TRACIE SONG
tune of THE TROLLEY SONG

(verse)
With a London triumph, an iconic role
And reviews my mother couldn’t write
It’s such a thing of beauty,
The praise I won as Judy
I kicked butt, to be polite

Ching ka-ching went producers
Ring, ring, ring went the phone
Yes, yes, yes went  investors
Even though I was kind of unknown

Buzz, buzz, buzz went the columns
Hype, hype, hype went the net
Type, type, type went the lawyers
The investment felt like a sure bet

Here in New York, the praises spread
But all the same we started out of town instead
We took it slow, our goal was clear
We all were hoping that the critics soon would cheer

Whoo, whoo, whoo went the papers
Up, up, up went my star
Stop, stop, stop went the presses
As the buzz starts to grow the whole town comes to know
That I’m grand
And exactly as planned
All the phone lines are manned
As we stand
With a hand
For the brand
For our show!
Here on Judy’s nine-oh!

Wallender and The Fly buzzed into my mailbox today.  Another excellent CD.....The Fly......

The notes and the photos are terrific.  I loaned my The Fly/Return of the Fly DVD to one of my brothers about three years ago, so I went to AMAZON and ordered the NEW The Fly/Return of the Fly/Curse of the Fly Classic DVD collection.

I love Patricia Owens in THE FLY......and she is wonderful as the fiance of Marlon Brando in SAYONARA.....   And a lobby card on the booklet of the CD reminded me of that great tagline:

Once it was human...even as you and I!
