I'm not dumping on you JR and I'm being picky, but the London production was not a revival. It was the first production in London and it wasn't done until 1987. There was a production in Manchester in 1985 but the London production was considered a big deal because of the revisions. It had book changes and some songs were cut and there were a couple of new numbers. It ran for a while but I don't think it was considered a success (I may be wrong). I saw it and was not happy about the book changes and while Country House and Ah, But Underneath are good numbers they aren't great numbers (IMHO) and didn't work well (although the night we saw the show Miss Diana Rigg sang Ah, But Underneath to me, quite an amazing moment). I don't like Make the Most of Your Music at all and it's a terrible number for Ben to to end with (again, IMHO).
And now off to unpack from an impromptu weekend trip to Long Island.
