I like to be fed chocolate, preferably whilst I'm wearing my lounging pyjamas and my leopard-spotted dickie.  But NEVER feed me a bowl of milk.  That is where I draw the line.

So happy all those Follies are at the postal office - and NOT the Studio City post office.

It's been too hot to go out, MBarnum. I haven't heard anything recently.

DR Laura, you have no "quotes"

It looks weird!

Listening to the soundtrack to the Dante film I referenced earlier - pretty good.  I may have a go at licensing it.

Good luck, BK!

Mike has been posting here. He was quite ill for a while and didn't post. Also, some people (a Gypsy reference) who have those fancy phones show as being on Facebook all the time.

No, he's posting in the Cast Albums group there - endlessly, over and over and over.  Funny.

Aww, that explains why you said he was on FB so much.

One of the actors, Chord Overstreet, in the Dante film is now on "Glee."  I wonder if he has a large role in the film.

I just got off the phone with 85 year-old Vincent Youmans II, son of the composer. I spent the morning tracking down the family via Cast Recording List and the Library of Congress. I have two library boxes of original NO NO NANETTE materials that John McGlinn "borrowed" and refused to return nearly 30 years ago. I came across the storage boxes yesterday while sorting through the moved materials and I want to return them to the family in the next couple of weeks, as soon as the office is more set up.

Do the scores include the dual piano parts from the revival??

These are the original 1925 materials; no pianos, there is a harp.

Thanks - been trying to locate those parts, just for fun, of course

BK

I still post every (almost) every day here. But I don't feel like I need to post every moment of my life. As for Facebook I'm just playing a game on Forgotten Musicals that has become somewhat addictive. I could start it here, but I am not sure how well it will go over here.

We don't expect you to post here every minute of your life.  But addictive is right, since you seem to be doing exactly that there :)  It's all good.  Just funny.

Well, it is what it is, folks.  Our Edwina has pitch problems, but she's a firecracker and adorable, so she'll be forgiven.  The rest of the show is good and we open in 2.5 hours.  I'm hoping to sleep well this eve.

The cast album thing on Facebook is rather funny.  Most of it is garbage from people who really don't have a clue.  When bk, or Elmore, or other "smart" people post, it makes it better.  But I wonder if these people have anything else to do in life.  They should come here.  Well, maybe....
