Setting up routers and such, especially Wi-Fi, is what challenges me each and every time.  Any time I have to do anything it's like learning it from scratch.

I have had so much trouble with my cable modems and routers over the last couple of years. :P A couple of weeks ago (or was it just last week?), a guy from Comcast came over and redid all the cable connectors and, so far, I haven't had ANY trouble with my Internet access.  I've been so busy with "Titus" that I haven't taken the time to try the router again.  Hopefully, I'll have a bit of time this weekend to hook it up again and see if I can use both my computer AND the Netflix streaming to my big TV through my Blu-ray player...hopefully.

Here's a direct link for those who haven't read the Harvey Evans interview: http://kritzerland.com/news.htm

Loved the interview, BK!  However, I noticed that the link at the bottom of the page to the .pdf version gives an error message ("Page Not Found").  The Oct 11 2010 link does, too.  All the others are okay.

Had a great lunch with Outside the Box's editor Marshall Harvey.  A movie he edited three YEARS ago is finally receiving a very limited release in the midwest in a month, after which I'm sure it's direct to video - Joe Dante's latest, The Hole.

My first 24 hours back in NYC were quite jam-packed.

But there are also a lot of tourists, hot god vendors and ....

I'm having some trouble envisioning this item (following ...a lot of tourists,)

SPOO!!!

And spoo to you, too!

Saw an ad for gluten-free cat food. Didn't know that cats get celiac disease, too.

I know most of them are lactose intolerant.

It is interesting the things one learns on Facebook.  Today I found out that Keith's cousin is in the hospital.  I have no idea why and have sent his wife a message.  It explains why he hasn't been posting on FB much and now his wall isn't showing anything.

I've had a quiet few hours, including a short nap, here at home and now I have to get ready to go a couple of blocks away for book group - bye for now!

Line of storms is crossing into NJ now, and just two counties away from where I am.  Looks like it's going to swallow up the entire tri-state region in one gulp.

I've called my landlord and, of course, the ass has not responded.

I've been to dinner with my friend Val from Barnes & Noble, and I guess I will take another cold bath very shortly.

Vastly amusing is our very own Michael Shayne's emergence on Facebook, where he now seems to spend every waking hour, like Pogue.  At least the former still comes around pretty much every day, but the latter I'm afraid is caught up in his own ME-isms.

I had lunch at Island's - yummilicious bacon cheeseburger and a reasonable number of fries - first time I have not over done the fries thing there.

I had a horrible thought while at work--What if with all this moving of boxes and the Post Office losing things that somehow, just some how the only copy of "Oy! The Musical" Staring Michael Ball got caught up in it and was lost forever??

The implications could lead to a disaster of Biblical proportions!

There would have to be retribution!

There would be much teeth grinding!

There would be screams!

There would be violence!

And then, after DR Elmore did all that they would have to deal with ME!!!!!

Oh the horror!

Please tell me that "Oy! The Musical" staring Michael Ball is safe!

;)

I'm told that all but a handful of international orders have been shipped.  The rest of the internationals will be finished this evening and at the post office first thing in the morning.

And yet...every movie and TV show involving a cat in a household shows someone giving it a bowl of milk.

That is so odd.   As to the "many" being lactose intolerant, things I've read indicate that most are...and that there are special formulas that are designed for cats who still need mother's milk.

Odd, but I never see any of his posts.  I double-checked and he remains a friend, but he may have dropped me.

Mike has been posting here. He was quite ill for a while and didn't post. Also, some people (a Gypsy reference) who have those fancy phones show as being on Facebook all the time.

Which reminds me that I meant to mention to returning DR JosePiano that DR Mike is the DR formerly known as DR Michael Shayne.

No, he's posting in the Cast Albums group there - endlessly, over and over and over.  Funny.

Listening to the soundtrack to the Dante film I referenced earlier - pretty good.  I may have a go at licensing it.

When we took our 4 week old kitten, Bosco, home I purchased the lactose free kitty milk for her even though she was eating canned food.
