Question for the group: My friend Bonnie and I have this food website that's largely local to San Antonio. Should we take political ads? Except for food politics, we have stayed out of that arena. I know we have a politically mixed base of readers, so would suddenly running ads for candidates on either side of the issues be a problem?

hometheaterforum used to be brilliant but they made the mistake of completely changing the appearance which ruined it and they stuck loads of adverts on the site. It became cumbersome to post on - and still is to a certain extent. Many regular posters simply drifted off.

I know it's going up to about 90 again today, but my house was so thorougly cool and dry by last night that I turned the AC off...and thanks to a morning overcast, it's still comfortable. Once the sun comes out and stays out, it'll have to be on again, but this has been a nice respite, with just a fan keeping the air moving around.

It's funny to me - whenever former dear reader Jose posts anything on Facebook the only people who post "likes" and comments, at least for the most part, are dear readers. There's no reason for him to come back is my less than subtle point.
