Well, you've read the notes, the notes were both tickled and pickled pink, and now it is time for you to post until the pickled cows come home.

Good morning, all!

BK, there's no post from you today. It's the one for Friday. Did you stay too long at the fair? I want to hear all about TFNM last night!

I am doing laundry, and when it's finished, I will head down to Toylnd to finish tapng the orchestra parts. I've got some work on EILEEN to do before I go, as well as vacuuming the apartment. Last night I had more dreams about working at The Drama Book Shop.

More coffee!

To answer Deb's question, no, we didn't change our names in any way. We decided not to hyphenate or mix or co-mingle. After almost 17 years why confuse people ;)

Good morning, all.  By all rights I should be sleeping in a bit today, but I at least got a nice solid sleep.  So here I am.  Must refill coffee cup.

Delighted to hear about the great evening at the Nuart.  I so love events like that.

Back later with my TOD list.

I drove out of the car park today. Put my ticket in the machine but the barrier didn't lift up. Oh no! I'd forgotten to pay before getting into my motor. It's the first time that I've ever done that! Age is catching up with me!

I'm back from the barber and the green market. I got some apples. I stopped at Pret a Manger for a cuppa and yogurt with julienne green apple slices, cinnamon and a splash of granola for breakfast. Yum!

It's grey here in Manhattan. It looks like it may rain. Who knows what the weather will be like next Friday when Mr. Kimmel is in town.

I have a busy schedule next weekend. Mr. K is Friday, we are going to New Jersey for a wedding on Saturday and then we have to be up and out early on Sunday morning for a day trip to Long Island. Anthony has to take care of an elderly friend. Her aide needs the day off so Anthony has been drafted to play with Elinor (she just turned 89 in May).

Plus, the usual work.

It's chilly this morning and they've dropped the forecast high from around 80 to 75.  We won't even see that if the overcast doesn't burn off.  But it probably will.  Not that I care either way, this being mostly a get things down around the house kind of day.

TOD:

The films which I never get tired of seeing tend to be heavy on dialogue. I don't find many action films to be re-viewable more than a few times.

The Letter
The Asphalt Jungle
The Man Who Never Was
A Passage to India
Paths of Glory
Seven Days in May
The Man Who Watched Trains Go By
The Spy Who Came in From the Cold
Hangover Square
The Big Lebowski
A Civil Action
Rope
Double Indemnity
Elmer Gantry
Fargo
Glengarry Glen Ross

This morning's exceptional Oregonian lede department:

A man who was intoxicated and masturbating to pornography when he plowed a stolen car through police and into a homicide scene will not have to register as a sex offender.
