Since one minute after waking, this has been destined to be a Benadryl Day.

I can't take it during the day unless I take a nap with it.  I hope tomorrow is a better day.

I am going to a progressive health emporium today to have what is billed as an abdominal massage.  I hope they can deal with someone who's incredibly ticklish.  :)

I have the same problem but you should be ok with a good massage.  I hope it helps.

DR ChasSmith, glad you got some Susan Gordon viewing, as others said, she was an absolute sweetheart.

If you search the innerwebs, specifically Ebay, you might be able to locate the issue of SCARLET STREET magazine which ran my interview with Susan. In fact she is the one, along with DR JRand61, who urged me to join HHW several years ago.

IMHO, her best movie is FIVE LITTLE PENNIES with Danny Kaye.

Does ENRON count as a "stock" play?

Or HOW NOW DOW JONES?

~~~NO GROANING ALLOWED~~~NO GROANING ALLOWED~~~~NO GROANING ALLOWED~~~
Bless you, TCB. That was most called for.
My question for ASK BK day is:
What is your favorite stock play or comedy - the one that is produced at community theaters across the country.
PRESENT LAUGHTER
THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER
PRESENT LAUGHTER......is that Noel Coward?
Yes, it is a Coward comedy. I saw it around 1965 and never laughed. Perhaps I would now if I saw it again.
So you saw Absent Laughter?
(I figured after the Enron joke, anything was fair game.)
This is one solution
Where is our DR Danise? Anderson Cooper was so disgusted by one of his guests he threw her off theshow!
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/23/anderson-cooper-human-barbie-sarah-burge_n_1538857.html?ref=media
I saw this.  Even throwing a guest off he was kind of nice about it.
Thank you all, I'll look for the issue of Scarlet Street and do some searching here.  It's obvious I've missed a truly wonderful person.
$441 poorer now, but the car is in great shape.  Happy to report the big farm is still across the highway from the VW place.  And where one finds a big farm, one finds:   cows.
I always enjoy Charley's Aunt.
But how does she feel about you?
DR ChasSmith, the fact that you already own a copy of ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE makes me think you are a wonderful person  ;D
If it turns out that you have a collection of Bollywood DVDs, I might just have to marry you.
We are back from ONCE and I'll have to repair my eye make-up before we proceed uptown to our friends' home for dinner.  As DR Elmore predicted, it's a real tear-jerker.  But wonderful...
Across 45th St. from where ONCE is playing we saw what they've built on the site where Barrymore's once stood.  Richard thinks it looks like a yurt:
How were the mezzanine seats? Were Steve Kazee and Cristin in? Isn't the Dad great? And the mother? And Andy Taylor? I hope it wins every award at the Tonys!
At both NY Theatreworks and the Broadway production, by the time they got to the final version of "Falling Slowly" I was blubbering like a baby.
We were 3 rows from the top of the theatre, but it was fine.  There were no substitutions and, yes, they were all wonderful.
I lost it when The Girl said, "It can't be about that!"
For me it was the moment near the end when she said in Czech "I love you" and the words came up as subtitles so he never understood what she said.
Just a quick HI from the Apple store at Broadway and 68th St.  A nice young man named Eric unstuck my iPhone app updater.  Life is good.
Oy to the vey - can't get a drummer for Grease - all these "volunteers" DON'T HAVE DRUM KITS.  I am NOT securing drum kits for people. I draw the line.  One kid's mom is worried about the son's drum kit being left in the gym all week.  I assured her that I've left electronic instruments in the gym for a week for 18+ years and nothing has happened to them.  When do parents
 stop making excuses for their children (the kid is 17).  I'm ready to do the show with a MIDI bass and drum track, guitar and keyboard.
DR Ginny, or anyone who has recently been to a graduation...What should I wear to the Civic Opera House for Bryan's graduation?  I was going to wear a summer skirt but the temps are dropping before we arrive which only leaves me with jeans.  Of course I would dress those up with a blouse and jacket, or something nice.
It was one of the most successful productions I have ever done.  Top pick everyday in the newspaper, lots of people waiting backstage to see me after the show, being recognized at the Mall or out for drinks after the show...  It was a wonderful run!
