For those who may be interested, IFC (The Independent Film Channel) has been showing some wonderful B monster movies on Saturdays....last weekened, I am told, they showed HORROR OF PARTY BEACH....next up, THE BRAIN EATERS!

When I was a kid I would try to watch THE BRAIN EATERS on TV, but could never get past the film's credits, it scared me so much!

Had I known that the monsters were portrayed by little fuzzy bedroom slippers, I'd have better been able to make it through the film.

I'm with DR Elmore, I don't want to leave my house either.  Woke up rather confused on the day, since I didn't work at church this weekend and we had a Grease rehearsal on Monday instead of Tuesday this week.  I guess I'll clean up and work on the garage.  Can't it be June 8, please.

In other domestically oriented news:  I have spent the past two hours with a dryer vent cleaning guy here at the new house trying to discern where our dryer vent is supposed to vent to.  I discovered quite by accident a couple of weeks ago that one of the previous owners had punched a hole through a sheet metal plate in the garage which is the back wall to the utility room, and that the dryer was venting into the garage (with lint, et al.).  I searched for two weeks by myself to try to find an exterior dryer vent and couldn't, so had this guy come today, and what do you know--he couldn't either.  We are assuming when they did the huge addition here they probably walled off the original dryer vent and punched a hole in the sheet metal covering in the garage to give the air somewhere to go.  Oy.
