Good morning, all! I slept late and I feel quite good. I'm having a round of arthritis in my hip that giving me may ambulatory problems I am not happy about for the past couple of days.
Yesterday was a pretty good day. Curtis and I finished the work on the Toyland invwntory for the California office. I really have no idea how much of this junk they will clear out and what will be left behind. The meeting about future work and a new office went well, too, so I'm hoping we'll have good office news soon.
Today, since I'm still waiting for the final fixes on two DEAREST ENEMY scores, I can't finish printing them out. So, hopefully tomorrow morning I can finish printing the full scores, take three to Kinko's for binding, and ship them out on Tuesday. Now that th scores are completed, we can begin printing and taping orchestra parts, whch I hope to accomplish in the next two weeks.
Instead, I will do a bit of proofreading on THE ONLY GIRL and begin the work for the CD release of EILEEN. I've found the carton holding all the scores and recording prep. My first project is to type the libretto for the recording. That should take me a week or so, and I'm not particularly looking forward to it.
And thar's my day.
