Speaking of waiting , I just got a message on Facebook from a friend I've not seen since 1989 or so, when he left New York. Around 2001, I tracked him down through the University of Texas Alumni Center, and we spoke over the telephone. I tried to call him after that the the number was no longer good. Today, we're back in touch and tomorrow, who knows?

At any rate, I'm happy to know he's alive and kicking somewhere in Missouri.

Isn't that an oxymoron?

Nice photo DR JMK.

I have no idea who any of those people are in the photo.

That's David Birney on the far left.

It's not necessarily the actual color, Tom.  It seems to be a hand-colored image.

When I first saw TITANIC on Saturday Night at the Movies, I just assumed that it was gold.  I guess Scarlett matches the character.

Well it's a lobby card - and rarely do the colors have anything to do with the REAL color of the b/w costumes - and sometimes even the color costumes.

I looked for it in the 20th Century Fox auction catalog, but it wasn't listed, and I didn't see it in Debbie Reynolds' auction either, so I think it can be ANY color we want it to be.

Thanks.  We hope tonight will be better with the inside temps turned down & the steroids kicking in.  Until we have the results of the path test we don't can't really move forward with treatment, if we opt for any.

Loved the photo from Dark Shadows, JMK.

First news of Levon Helm, then Jonathan Frid.

Mom and I had a great lunch at China Cottage, an unplanned stop at Cooks' Wares, and a delightful time at Dorothy Lane Market.  She bought all the baked goods I can no longer eat and I bought fresh fruit and yogurt.  Home now for a couple of hours until meeting with my book group friends.

Went to try on contacts for the first time today.  Kinda of a disaster.  I'm hoping with practice, it will be easier.  I've never worn them before and I thought it might be time to try.   We'll see if I can get used to it.
