I've been weeding mp3 files out of my iTunes; I'm running out of computer memory on my hard disck because I have 63,000 tracks downloaded. I wonder if the computer could play continuously for 157 days without dying? The neighbors would hate me.

DR elmore - I bought an external hard-drive exclusively for my iTunes Music Library. If you don't want to drag a good chunk of your Music files to the Trash Can, an external hard-drive would be an easy and not too expensive solution.

Jose is right...external hard drives are getting to be VERY inexpensive.  I've seen 2TB drives on sale for about $100!

If we have to get snow, please let it come AFTER the road guy looks at our road.  Even better is after he fixes it but that is too much to hope for.

We have a fifty percent chance of rain tonight. The last measurable rain we had was in December. They say this will probably be the last rain until the summer monsoon.

DR Jennifer if I begin with THE PERFECT HUSBAND will that help before I read CATCH ME?  How many of the series do I need to read before CATCH ME?

The books in the FBI profiler series are:
The Perfect Husband
The Third Victim
The Next Accident
The Killing Hour
Gone
Say Goodbye

There are characters from The Perfect Husband in Catch ME. Actually if you don't care that much about the relationships/kids of Quincy and his daughter then The Perfect Husband would be the perfect book to read before Catch Me. Because I read The Perfect Husband so long ago i could just barely remember the characters that were in Catch Me. But if you read it now it will be fresh in your mind.

I can purchase Perfect Husband for $7.99.  Maybe I'll buy it to read before Catch Me.

Do you have a lot of HD videos or similar files? 1,000 Gigs is a LOT of music, photos, etc.

Jennifer I purchased the book.  I bet as soon as I begin reading all three of the ebooks I've been expecting the last several days will arrive from the library.

Well, one easy way to free up some space on your hard-drive would be to set up a folder on one of your external drives for some of your image files (jpgs, gifs, etc.). It's a very easy "drag and drop" operation. Moving your iTunes library is a bit more complicated. -Although, there are also some pretty good iTunes plug-ins that make managing your iTunes library a whole lot easier.

I need to move my iTunes library, too.  I have it all on my C drive, but I'd like to free up that space.  I have two external hard drives that are 1TB and 1.5TB in size.

And now, I must leave work and go home.  HOPEFULLY, my cable is back and I will finally have Internet and TV again.

Be back...hopefully, sooner rather than later.

I wrote about my kindle:

I do like it for books i can't get otherwise. And i had no idea that i could check my email or update my goodreads account. So i like that part.

Do you have a kindle keyboard or just the regular kindle? I'm curious if people without the kindle keyboard (what i have) can check their email or go on the internet. What do they use to type words?

My Kindle has a keyboard.

Met friends for lunch and we went to a local Lithuanian restaurant which I'd not been to before. Had a spicy soup followed by some sort of beef dish, with roast potatoes and salad, followed by a cherry tart. All very filling. I now feel totally bloated so will go and lie down like a beached whale.

I've never had Lithuanian food.  I'm not sure it sounds very good.  I want to visit one day & see Vilna, the town my grandparents are from.

I've never had Lithuanian food either.  Of course, I am a Methodist

Finessed, printed, Xeroxed (and am having the Xerox place to the complete book spiral bound for me to do the initial proofing before I get it to my two official proofers), and pages delivered.  Muse Margaret doesn't think she'll be able to read all of it in one day, so I probably won't hear from her until tomorrow.  In the meantime, here is a preview of the new book:

It looks even more interesting than I thought that it would.
