I finessed for almost two hours, having to add a couple of little sections I'd remembered.  Then I wrote two new pages, then had lunch, then picked up a package, then came home and wrote thirteen pages and finished the chapter I was on - the Varese years are now over and I'm in the home stretch of this book.

It was not the easiest part of the book to write, but I'm sure that there will shortly be some more things that aren't easy to write about.

Our winter storm from yesterday, which had turned into an ice storm today; was expected to be gone by this afternoon.  Instead, another storm has arrived on top of the other storm, and now we are back to snow.  I just called and cancelled my doctor appointment for tomorrow that I need to have before I can schedule my surgery.

Can't you book the surgery date prior to approval?  It seems to me the doctor appointment should be closer to the surgery date.

Nope, the surgeon will not schedule the surgery until he has the written approval of the MRSA doctor.

DR TCB I'm sorry you had to cancel your appointment.  Do you have to wait long for the new one?

I have no idea.  There was no one at the doctor's office to book me a new appointment.

They might re-book today's patients first, unless they had planned to be closed today.

The recording was from Tuesday, saying they would be closed Wednesday and Thursday due to inclement weather.

I hope they will be open tomorrow to catch up with as many patients as possible.

DR TCB have you looked into a transport service that picks people up in wheelchairs?  They have them here for a reasonable cost.  Then you wouldn't have to walk or drive on the ice.

Yes and no.  Under normal circumstances, I should be able to reach the regular bus stop, where supposedly every other or every third bus is wheelchair accessible.  Under these current weather conditions I would qualify for the short bus - if I had submitted an application 21 days ago.

Is that 21 days to apply for a specific date & time or to call & use it in general?

Paramedic Rob works for that kind of company in Cincinnati.

yesterday Jose said :Why don't we aim for 5:15-5:30 at Landmarc in the Time-Warner Center at Columbus Circle? Centrally located, and they have a great hamburger - or chickenburger(!) - plus free cotton candy and caramels. Wink

If we're all there around 5:15, it should be easy to snag a table. -I'm tying to avoid the between-show masses in the Theatre District. I also know one of the chefs and the manager, so...

If anyone has any other suggestions, feel free to suggest.

That is fine withme - however since am geographically challenged how should i get from where I'll be to there?

Found the Albert Finney "Scrooge" tonight at Big Lots. Christmas may be over, but I can't wait to watch it.
