Brain fart...yet again. ::)

But the clip is still hysterical! ;)

Thank you for this.

My pleasure!

It's been very good! Thanks.

I stopped at Arties and got a slice of birthday cake, which I'll have with a bit of ice cream in a little bit. The slice is huge, so I think I'll be celebrating until Wednesday when I celebrate my birthday with dinner at Joe Allen.

Dolores Hope has passed away at the wonderful age of 101.  I enjoyed reading about her life.

What kind of cake?

White, I think. Lots of gaudy frosting.

Sounds yummy though I would probably remove about half of the gaudy frosting.

In honor of your birthday I had a nice day.  First I splurged on hot chocolate while Keith & Penny enjoyed their coffee.  The four of us, Sherlock included of course, went for a short hike.  Penny then continued down I-5 to spend the night with her nephew.  After dropping Sherlock off back home I had an exceptionally good work out at the gym.

On the subject of web series, we did the People's Choice, the Golden Globes, the Grammys, the Oscars

and now here's the last installment for 2011:

Thanks. That was a hoot. I saw photos of it and read about it, but I really was glad to see it.

My flight is only an hour.  After which I will settle into my hotel, then take a brief walk to the arch and the Lewis and Clark Westward Expansion Museum (or whatever they call it).  I haven't decided if I'm going up in the arch yet, but I'll definitely go to the museum.  After that, I'm going to treat myself to a nice dinner and get ready for my argument tomorrow.  I have some additional research to do, but I'm not sure it's going to get me anywhere.   The thing I don't like about appellate arguments is they don't give you any advanced warning about what they are interested in knowing about.  So, you sometimes get taken by surprise. I really don't think that's going to happen here

I really should go ask them for the sign, but I don't mind just having a photo of it.

I wasn't sure I wanted to go up in the arch, but as soon as I got here, I walked over, went down into the visitor center and knew I was going to do it.   You're in a little pod with 4 other people for the climb up.  It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, then you get to the top and you can feel it move a little.  It made me a bit dizzy, actually, but hey, I've been to the top of the arch!

I also went to the Westward Expansion museum and the Lewis and Clark movie, got too much candy at a great candy shop there, came back and ate way too much.  So much for the diet today!

DR Cillaliz - congratulations on being "Guest of the Day"!  I'm glad you went to the top of the arch, too.

I'm also eating the best toffee I've ever had....YUM....then there was the pecan divinity...yum....I tried to put the peanut brittle back, but just couldn't leave the store without it.  I have managed not to eat any of it and will wait until I get home for that

I am quite enamored with The Arch.  It is beautiful and I can't believe I was inside of it. Its look changes everytime the light hits it differently
