There was an earthquake in Virginia/D.C. area (five-point-eight on richter scale) felt all the way here in NY - vibes that Jose is OK.

Also an earthquake in Colorado, and just recently one in Cleavland.

I understand that the Cleavland quake was the Virginia quake, but Colorado was a separate quake.

Good Afternoon!

Greetings from somewhere between Baltimore and Washington, DC.

Apparently, the earthquake hit right before we arrived in Baltimore. We stalled there for a bit, and are now moving very slowly towards DC.

I'm OK. The train is OK. And none of my fellow passengers are freaking out.

I did miss the rehearsal I was supposed to play this afternoon, but my "overstudy" was able to cover it.

I called my family. My brothers are OK as are my parents. Since they're in Richmond, they really felt it. They were at the post office at the time.

As for myself, to quote Morales from A CHORUS LINE: I felt nothing.

On this date in 1973, I moved to Middletown, Ohio, never imagining that I'd still be here 38 years later!

From what I can tell your decision to move to Middletown was a perfect one. :)

The best laid plans ...........

I started my mega doses of sulpha drugs yesterday, and last night they gave me a rather unexpected side effect.  I guess nothing is normal about this MRSA attack.  So, my first day back at work is now tomorrow - not today.

I'm shocked you had side effects and very sorry you are home today.  Now is someone taking you to the doctor this afternoon?

I'm lucky Bryan always remembers my favorite appetizer at the Indian restaurant since I always totally forget about it.  The dish is Dahi Wada
Crispy fried white lentil balls in a slightly spicy ginger, coriander, yogurt sauce.

Dan the Man gets the comedy prize of the day.  The hysteria I'm reading about is pretty amusing.  These people should count their blessings they've never been in California for a strong earthquake.  Of course, many thought the earthquake was related to 9/11 and caused by terrorists.

Busy day.  Had to go pick up some additional tapes for our next release.  Those will be transfered tomorrow and the mastering guy should be able to do his job in just a few hours.  It's a wonderful score to a motion picture I recently talked about.

When I first heard the reactions to the quake I bust up laughing.

I almost got to try a Voodoo doughnut http://voodoodoughnut.com/index.php.  Sunday morning Bryan walked us over to the shop, stopping just down the block for a Stumptown coffee.  He almost didn't stop for the coffee as the wait was close to 30 minutes.  I left him inside waiting for coffee & Keith outside sitting at a table with Sherlock & continued down the street to Voodoo Doughnuts.  After Bryan got his coffee I left my line which had at least another 30 minutes left to get inside the shop.  I did stop & peek.  The chocolate doughnut with chocolate frosting looked very good as did the apple fritter.

Monday morning I had the option to stop in the Eugene store on the way home or go to Grand Central Bakery http://www.grandcentralbakery.com/ for bread, bread pudding muffins & money bread muffins.  I opted for the bakery.  I resisted their wonderful cookies.

Continued Irish vibes for DR ELMORE.

Editing vibes for MR BK.....

I want to know if elmore has tracked down the guy from the Irish Spring commericals.

He should be old enough to date Mikey, I would think!

I don't want to jinx tomorrow, but we had a really good day today. We need to finish up in grand style tomorrow, so keep those good vibes coming!

Recording vibes for DR  Elmore.

Thanks, Nursie!

We heard all about the quake from our actor Karl, who learned it from Facebook. Everyone in the cast wanted to know if I lived close to Richmond.

I love Dan(theMan)'s photo.

It's after midnight here. Good night, everyone!

Wow!  My parents have been living in the same house now for almost 35 years...we moved here in October of 1976. :D

My parents have been in their house since 1959
