Back from a wonderful day of shooting, then a Jew meal, then coconut cake (I only ate a third of a piece). The day could not have gone better - I kept the atmosphere light and fun as I always do, and the cast was just fantastic and so easy. We began with Nikka Graff Lanzarone, who did her bit quickly and effortlessly. The cameraman was great, as was our sound guy and everything just went so smoothly and quickly. I so wish I could tell you exactly what we're doing, but there are too many little prying thieving eyes out there - sorry, prying, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery eyes, and I want to get this on the web before anyone actually starts trying to do it - whether they will or not is anyone's guess, but having been bitten by this sort of thing in the past, I'm just keeping my mouth shut. When we're close to airing episode one then I'll spill the beans. At the end of Nikka's thing, Brad Oscar arrived and did his part of Nikka's thing (just the end). Then we did Brad's solo thing, then we did a big ensemble and Brad thing that was absolutely stellar and hilarious - Brad is just fantastic and Adam Cates' choreography was wonderful. I think it will cut together easily. Then we moved onto the second episode, right on time. The three bits in that episode involved Sandy Rosenberg and Barry Pearl, both wonderful, and their bit went very quickly. Then Beth Leavel got there and we did her solo bit, then her bit with Barry and Sandy. We wrapped almost an hour early and let me tell you, I shot a LOT of coverage.
