Is that common in all broadway theatres now to allow food and drinks at the seats? Hate that idea.

It isn't permitted at the theaters here.  Before performances they ask people to unwrap anything (as in hard candy) now & to turn off cell phones.

Richard and I went on a movie date this afternoon to see CAPTAIN AMERICA.  For comic book movie, it wasn't bad.

Yes, the lines to see the Book of Kells can be daunting but there is so much to see in Dublin that if you don't get to see the BOK you will have other sights to remember.

There is a great statue of Oscar Wilde on the northeast corner of St. Stephen's Green.

There is also a statue (fairly current) of Molly Malone on Grafton Street.

When I was in Dublin last year I found the statue of Molly Malone but had quite a time taking a picture--people were sitting all around her!

Well I have returned.

Unfortunately my vacation was not what it I hoped it be.

Toronto was fine, but in Montreal I was sick the whole time. I only went out to visit my father in rehab and for three meals. Also had no internet service in MTL as my folks were moving.

I've been suffering from stomach problems the last few months, but the last few weeks have been the worst. I've been basically eating soda crackers and gingerale. My appetite is pratically non existant and only eating one meal a day knowing I have to eat something

Later in the week I will be having a medical procedure to see what may be causing the problem. A previous test did not find anything. I am hoping that they will find an answer to my problems.

So please excuse me if I am absent for a while.

Michael, I'm so sorry. I hope your testing shows what's wrong and that it is easy to treat.

I'm very sorry.  When my stomach problems are bad I find basmati the easiest food to digest.  A number of years ago it was all I could eat.

I have been thinking......and I think that Alan J. Lerner and Frederick Loewe would have revisited CAMELOT and made some improvements.....so I am going to add them to my production for the second week.

I will have Lancelot play the accordion during "C'est Moi" adding to his character and showing him to be a master of ALL things, not just knight things.

I have added a monolog for Guenevere talking about her childhood and father issues so that we understand why she falls in love with Arthur.

Because Arthur as a character is the most exposed in the play - I will have him do the second act naked.

I have also added a scene at the beginning of Act Two in which Queen Morgause, King Lot, and King Arthur are appearing on a medieval version of The Maury Show to use a DNA test to establish the paternity of Mordred.....during which I will play "You're Having My Baby" on an accordion offstage.

But whatever you do, don't have Pellinore say, "Bring me my goat!"

I ordered a used copy of the Bing Crosby set that DR JOHNG was talking about last week.....only $6 including shpg!
Enjoy. I found it largely wonderful. I've started the Mae West set that, I think, MBarnum mentioned a few weeks ago. And today at Costco, I found a box set with Irving Berlin's "On the Avenue" and Cole Porter's "Something to Sing About." Both have good songs, even if the movies aren't top drawer.

Tomorrow is the three-month-to-the-date anniversary on the job and I think I'll find out if my contract will be extended or not. Am not looking forward to that meeting.
