I used to be able to go to my history and click the link that would take me right to BK's daily column here.  For over a year that link has utterly disappeared...there are links that take me to various stages of the Discussion boards, but the link that takes me to BK's column utterly disappeared.  I have to reach it by typing in the URL or going to my favourites page.  What happened?

DR Pogue - It could be that your History is just reflecting more recent views and click-thrus. It could still be there, but just pushed down to the bottom of the list. -Especially if you haven't actually typed the URL address lately.

Just Bookmark http://www.haineshisway.com and that should take care of it. -It will also prioritize what comes up first when you start typing in "Haines.." in your browser's address box.

Jose, I have  haineshis way bookmarked and often just type that out to reach the site.  It used to be when I when to haineshisway in my history fromthe previous day, it would show everyplace I had been on the site. It still does except for GK's notes.  I have no idea why.  I used to access notes through my history.  I can't do that anymore.  It's slightly inconvenient, but hardly insurmountable...I'm just curious, if anyone else has experienced this and why it not won't let me access notes through the history links.

Perhaps because you called him GK!

The refrigerator is finished and so am I! I've crawled into a tub of cold water to shake off the sweat and cool down. I hope the fridge still works and in another hour I'll check the freezer to see if it's still working.

Did you try using a hairdryer to speed up the process................  Oh, never mind.

Bird of paradise was my mother's favorite flower.

My mother likes bird of paradise so much that they were used for her corsage for my sister's wedding (almost 50 years ago!).  Very challenging for the florist.

I had a terrible Monday.  I got up late, when I got to the parking garage there was this jerk, who did have access to the garage until 6:00 a.m..  He kept trying his badge everry minute.  I kept asking him to putll out and I would open the garage for both of us, but he refused to move his effin Lexus.  Finally at six, the garage door opened and the parade of cars behind Mr. Lexus were allowed to enter.

Today the pain in my legs was almost unbearable, but I managed to make it through until 1:30.  Then I came home, wet my pants, and I am now catching up on e-mails, posts, and Facebook messages.

It was about six minutes to six; but I could have gotten us all in earlier.  I have 24-hour access, which Mr. Lexus does not have.  Yes, I have a parking spot near the elevator.

Richard, Rob, and I went out to our local Greek restaurant for dinner, after which we were going to do errands at a couple of places.  When we left Target, the skies looked so threatening that we decided come on home.  We got here just as the rain started and now we're having a doozy of a thunderstorm.

Good Evening!

Well, I've had a rather productive and enjoyable day today back in Nueva York. And I had a few very pleasant and most welcome surprises come my way too this afternoon. :)

And even though the forecast called for some "uncomfortably hot" temperatures today, I found it rather pleasant walking around today. I finally checked out the new extension of The Highline - Beautiful. And once I was at 30th Street, I just kept walking up to 59th to catch the train. -I had started walking from 4th Street. It felt great to walk that much of a distance again - which is not easy to do in DC since it's not really a "walking city".

And now I'm going to take a few minutes to pack my luggage for tomorrow. I pulled a bunch of things from my storage unit this morning.  Most of it was brought down to the Textile Recycling booth at the Union Square Greenmarket, but I did pull some clothes and other items to bring back to Virginia. -Most importantly, the shoes for my brother's wedding!

My bus leaves at 7:30am tomorrow, and if I can have it all ready to go tonight...

Laters...

Speaking of Magnums.... in our nutrition news letter under "food porn" I read all the reasons not to even try a caramel Magnum.  They have coconut oil, corn syrup, etc & 330 calories & 14 grams of saturated fat.
