Will the stumbling improve as your broken toes do?  Is there another problem causing it?  If I remember correctly you said the pain in your back caused the first fall.

NO MORE FALLING VIBES!!!!

It is a scaitic nerve problem.  The nerve is being pinched off by the disk in my back.  My left leg is getting more and more numb all the time; and when you can't feel your leg and your foot, you tend to fall down.

This day has been wonderful.  7am meeting, breakfast with my friends, a walk to the fountains, lunch outdoors with a book and chocolate & raspberry croissant.

Now to laundry and more unpacking boxes that have been sitting for more than a year.

Hugs, vibes, and  :-* :-*

I just put on Tell Me on a Sunday with the purpose of perhaps re-writing the lyrics to match the events of the past 4 months, and then perhaps doing my own version.  We'll see how this listen goes

Just got the sweetest e-mail from a gentleman who just watched The Last Of Howard episode of The Partridge Family, which I guess was shown somewhere today.  He told me that he'd had a big crush on me when he was a kid.  I love stuff like that.

That is very sweet, as long as he isn't a stalker.

GOOD AFTERNOON

Feeling better.

TOD

From the film version of The Sound of Music

Because of Julie Andrews' British accent I thought she was sing in My Favorite Things:  "When the DOOR bites" I never understood how a door could bite. It wasn't until I read a copy of the stage version did I finally know what she was saying

Just taking a break from packing and thought I'd look into what's going on in Berea, KY, where we will spend tomorrow night on our way to Atlanta.  Of all things, there's a free performance by Richmond's Rose Barn Theatre of As You Like It

Ahhhh,  I get BEWARE THE BLOB.

If anyone else got to BEWARE THE BLOB, perhaps they could explain this notation in the cast list:

Robert Walker Jr.  ..........  Bobby Hartford (as Robert Walker)

Yes I can.

Under SAG rules only one actor can have the same name. I believe that a number of years have to pass after an actor dies or an actor redraws from SAG can another actor use the same name

Most recent example that I remember was Paul Rudd. A NY stage actor who appeared briefly in film and TV (10 years) 75-85. The current Paul Rudd started acting in 1992 but used the name Paul Stephen Rudd until 1996

One reason why you should be a part of TFNM blu ray project.

Going from video to video, I came across THIS review of the movie!  Has anyone else seen it?

I still laugh at the this scene with Joy Full.

Although the title is posted as the First NUDE Musical

So Robert Walker Jr., now goes by Robert Walker since his father is dead?

Yes. Although I think he sometimes he credits himself with the JR.

The official diagnosis is degenerative(sp) disk disease, so the only cure for my problem is back surgery.

OK--Vibes to everyone.  No hurting, no falling, no planting in the heat, no flooding, no dusting, no bleeding, no aching, no fallen angel food cakes.

Be careful out there, kids!

Glad to see Sam enjoying herself in the right ways.  The croissant sounds good - I never eat them and maybe I should give something like that a try.

I have been watching the second and final season of the BBC series from the 1970s, THE DUCHESS OF DUKE STREET, which I recommend wholeheartedly for both its excellent ensemble cast and its wonderful social history of London from the 1880s through the early 20th century. While it's similar to UPSTAIRS DOWNSTAIRS, I think it's good to have a look at the same period from another perspective.

At the moment I'm watching what I suspect is the final episode covering World War I - I think the date at the beginning of the episode was August 1918 - and blubbering through it with six episodes to go. I always loved Gemma Jones and she is really quite wonderful in this.

I had to review THE DUCHESS OF DUKE STREET many years ago.  I rather liked it.

I've taken two rather lengthy walks today (too hilly in this neighborhood to run), in what for Portland is very warm weather.  So I'm feeling like I've gotten my exercise for the day.

If you are so inclined, we would appreciate your vote for World of Wisdom as Best Bookstore.

http://wrtv.cityvoter.com/world-of-wisdom-bookstore/biz/36861

When you vote you are asked for an email and a password and you will get two email confirmations but NO OTHER emails.  This year you do not have to click a link in the email for your vote to count - so you can just delete those two emails when you receive them.

Thanks!

I can't get rid of the damn Tiger Forest.

I don't know what this means.

I also cranked out reviews for a weird little anime series (is there any other kind?) called ANGEL BEATS and the new BD of IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD.  I am currently working on LORD OF THE DANCE.  The fun *never* ends.  ;)

Tomorrow is the problem tenant's last day in the rental house.  She is now saying she may not be able to get the keys back to me at a reasonable hour on Sunday, so we may have to do that on Monday, but I could really use those patented HHW vibes that this all resolves peacefully with no more drama on their parts.
