When my sister, niece and I went to London in 2001, we got tickets at the London-equivalent TKTS booth for "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" with Brendan Fraser, Francis O'Connor and Ned Beatty as Big Daddy. We had tickets to see a singing group called STEPS (my niece's absolute favorite), which was the main reason for the trip to London, so we had to make sure that we got there in time. We had to leave at the second intermission and miss the last act. That was the only time that I left before the end of a professional show.
