I got my haircut this week.....that process probably takes longer for that to be done for you DR BEN.

Ha, ha. It's taking less and less time. It looks like I have a full head of hair but it's getting mighty thin up on top. It takes Yuri about 15 minutes to cut my hair. I'm thinking that in the spring I should just bite the bullet and get it cut very short. I don't want the shaved head look but I think shorter would be better.

Last night, I went to a local production of "How I Learned to Drive" by Paula Vogel.  I'd only heard of the play but didn't know what it was about....now I do.

It was very well done...quite powerful.  The lead woman was played by Heather, who played Joyce in TAO's The Brain From Planet X.  I only knew one other person in the cast (of five), but I knew most everyone in the audience (of fifteen).

That's been sitting in my to-read stack for about a year now. I found a copy for a buck on a close-out rack and just haven't taken the time to read it. Maybe for Christmas, given your emoticon!

It's a pretty heavy read John. I saw the Off-Broadway production with Mary Louise Parker. It's quite a piece for good actors.

We have lots of things to watch thanks to the kindness of friends but I don't have a clue what we will see this weekend.

I managed to get on FB last night, which I never do much of anyway, and discovered that BK worked with a casting agent in L.A. who moved to Portland and is mother to an actress who appeared in two high school musicals here where I was hired to help fill out the orchestra with multiple synth parts (so many patch changes I still have nightmares LOL).  This girl is in a play off Broadway now.

Looks like a good day to see a Broadway show: Today's TKTS offerings just got posted.  Out of the 38 currently running shows, 31 are up on the board. Good thing? Bad thing? Just a thing?
