DR Laura odds are you won't need a pat-down unless you are carrying something that sets off the alarms. I carry a piece inside me that does usually sets off the alarms. Now just carrying that darn liquid medication gets me pulled out of line. In Medford they went through my luggage too. In Portland they concentrated on the pat-down & the obnoxious security checker.

Sorry to read about DR Elmore's train-pain last night. Right now, I am in love with the conductor on my Philly-bound train after work.
