Richard and I just returned from a 27.5 minute walk around the neighborhood and he says THANK YOU to DRs Jennifer, Cillaliz, and Vixmom for the birthday wishes!

Oy and vey do I look widescreen in those pics.  I firmly believe I'm not quite that fat.  That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Of course when standing next to the extremely svelte BK and Jane one looks pudged by comparison.

Jane is still asleep, or at the very least has not dared to come upstairs yet.  :)

I don't know how long I slept - the pillows here are not my faves but I'm sure I slept some - at about seven the person next to me showered - it sounded like the shower was in HERE.  So, I've just been in bed but not sleeping.

In addition to Richard's birthday, today begins our family festive season.  Two weeks from today is my mother's birthday, 4 weeks from today is mine, and 6 weeks from today is

CHRISTMAS!

Scattered in there are lots of birthdays among friends and extended family and the 10th wedding anniversary of our niece Rev. Amy and her DH Ken.

And 7 weeks from today it will be 2011 - but who's counting?

The Oaf was up at 6am, tromping about with quite a lot of endless shuffling. Then, around 10am, he was dropping heavy objects onto the floor. It could be trunks or cartons, if he's really beginning to pack up things, but I still think it's cases of drugs and lethal weapons.

I think it's time to head downtown where all the lights are bright for my meeting. I have to stop at Toyland and drop off some Toyland memorabilia i've collected.

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And it looks like someone tried to break in to our building last night.  The glass on the security door is broken, and there are shards of glass in the foyer. -And since there was an "incident" two nights ago just two blocks from here, well... :-\

In other news...

I left my apartment yesterday some time around 12:15pm.  Due to various appointments and detours, I did not get back to my apartment until 12:15am. And by that time, I was feeling a bit run, so I went right to bed... And eight and a half hours later...  -Which probably explains why I slept through the glass being broken. ???

DR JMK - Thanks for posting the pics from last night's dinner.

*Btw - Tina Paradiso - Wow! I haven't heard that name in a while! My friend, Elinore O'Connell, was the Fantine in the L.A. company of Les Miz.
