DR elmore - At least yesterday's session was not a total bust.  And now you get a little break, and have plenty of time to prep for the final sessions.

Back from Rite-Aid with a toothbrush and some Ricolas.  I'm a little nervous to do dinner before the show - I don't like to eat before a show and also I have to take it easy on my voice, especially if I'm singing.  So, I may tag along or not - but I'm hoping we can all go out afterwards for a brief foodfest.

Saturday morning greetings!  Today is DR Richard's birthday, so we're going to The Meadows for dinner.  Tomorrow we're taking Central Pastry orange chiffon cake for after-church coffee hour.

Lovely pictures of last night's gathering in Portland - I'm so glad DR Jane is there and DR George and the others.  Have fun, y'all!

A Very Happy Birthday to Richard!!

bk - The next time you forget a toothbrush or some other basic toiletry, just check with the front desk at the hotel.  Most of them carry the basics now, and they're usually free too.

Have a million things to do today, so I had best get started doing them...then I will hie myself up to Portland and see BK's show....I think some of us may be getting together for some dinner before the show, I hope.

BEFORE the show?  What time?  Where?  Can I meet at JMK's house and follow?  Inquiring minds from Tumwater, Washington want to know!!

Last night the Vixter went to see the Scottsboro Boys

Cool!  I ordered the CD but it hasn't arrived yet.

Well, I need to take a shower and get myself to work.  I have to start cleaning up my former cubicle so that my replacement can make it her own cubicle...she's starting on Monday.

I'll be able to check in here when I'm at work and I'll have my phone with me, too.

Until later!

In other news...

It feels like Spring here in NYC today. Sunny and temps in the mid-60s.  Alas, I also think my "Spring allergies" are also acting up today too. Meh.

We had no snow in Sioux City last night, but very close to here they are reporting 10 inches on the ground.  My dad sent me this photo from their house

Beautiful!

T.O.D.

THE INNOCENTS
THE EXORCIST

Those are the only two I can think of, at the moment.

How are you feeling today, DR TCB?

Well, my ear doesn't hurt today, but I still can't hear out of  it.  I am going to go out to lunch with a friend, and I will pretend that I am in Portland at The Gathering.

As for the Topic of the Day...

"Poltergeist"
"The Amityville Horror" - the original
"The Exorcist" - Although, after hearing the real story from Sister Mary Gregory in 7th Grade, it's always been more of a "based on a true story" movie to me.

Jane also deserves a Tony nomination for Best Actress.  I knew she was going to Portland, but  she had me convinced from her posts that she wasn't going.

And now...

Well...

I'm kind of surprised that the landlord has not sent someone over to board up the front door by now. :-\
