FJL, your new avatar makes you look disturbingly like my collaborator on my version of Reefer Madness.  If you knew my collaborator, you would understand why I say "disturbingly."   ;D

I'm glad I don't know the background of that. But I like the new avatar.

TOD: Der Bingle. Love his songs in "High Society," especially "I Love You, Samantha."

I am a Facebook neophyte--can some of you tell me if you got the invitation to BK's "event" in Portland?  Thanks.

Looks like I will be able to get the Miss Karen family into adoptions tomorrow.

I am hoping this is the end of Kitten Season for the year.

From Cilla:
Quote
I had a mild sedative for my cat when I moved from Arizona.  It worked well. He slept all day and at night he ran around the motel room and was fine

I have found mild sedatives helpful for some cats while most have adjusted without them.  I will double check but I believe his cat will be ok without one, she just won't be happy.  This cat flew from Romania to New York and has lived in three states now.  I think she knows the routine. ;D

Had you added another cat sooner you might not have had the same excellent results with the mix. :)

From John G:
Quote
When I moved from Middletown, Ohio, to upstate New York, I got a kitty sedative for Benjamin Stone. It didn't work. He crawled out of his box and decided the best place for him in the rental truck was under the clutch. I drove through the night on a one-lane highway through Pennsylvania. The other lane had been removed. It rained and visibility was next to nothing. And the cat kept getting mad whenever I had to shift gears.

One of the reasons I offered to help Craig during the drive, so his cat could get out of the carrier & I could make sure she didn't get under Craig's feet.

Yes, they get to go to adoptions tomorrow. I'd better start making up their paperwork.

Do Events go out to everyone automatically or do I have to do something?

I do see both announcements on FB, one includes an RSVP.  I did not see a personal event request which I gather you didn't send.

Facebook? What's that?

I'm one of two people (maybe three) in the entire world not on Facebook.

I see a way to invite people, but do I have to go through and individually select all of my thousands of friends LOL?  Or is there a way to "select all"?

I'm sounding very like BK in my techno-uninformedness, don't you think?  :)

DR JMK - I can see the Event on your Wall, but it doesn't look like it was sent out as an Invitation, nor "Shared" with your Friends and Friends of Friends.
