The singer today was very sweet but not right for the songs we need the singer to do.  So, a couple more people coming on Monday.

I then had a late lunch with the singer I met with the other day and after much discussion and discourse, we've decided to do an act for her.  She had an act but this will be a brand new act.

I'm going to walk around the house and see if I see any water...I can't imagine where it would be leaking... maybe the automatic reader isn't working.  I really wish they wouldn't wait until after 4:00 on a friday to make that sort of call

Ours was leaking by the water meter -- we only knew it because the grass was really really green right there.

Druxy, I also got a promo copy of SPARTACUS:  BLOOD AND SAND (on Blu-ray) and am also curious.  I think Elmore and some others here have watched at least some of it.

We bit the bullet this afternoon and decided to get the new LeafFilter gutter screening system.  It recently placed first in Consumer Reports, and I can tell you after having spent hours today cleaning and fixing gutters, I don't want to have to deal with it again.  This house is too tall and too crazily angled for me to try to reach downspouts.  That said, it was AWFULLY expensive.  :(

I'll check outside tomorrow, but inside it's totally dry.  I have used a lot of water lately on various projects.  Maybe that's it, who knows

Cilla, I recommend you turn off your main water in and then go look at your water meter.  If it isn't moving, you're safe.  If not, you may have a repair to do.  We got a similar notice a long time ago at our old house and it turned out to just be a fluke.  That said, when we were getting ready to buy this house, I noticed that the water meter was running even when nothing was supposedly on in the house.  I had the previous owners pay to have a plumber come and he found a very slow leak in one of the toilets.  But if you turn off your water main and check your meter, you'll know for sure right away.

They still can't be together without growling and spitting. And there's some random yowling for no apparent reason.

They might be practising for appearances on Fox News.

I went down to the basement earlier and looked at the water meter.  Even without shutting off the water it wasn't running.  I watched it for awhile and nothing moved.  So, I'll check again before bed, but I'm pretty sure it's ok.

That's good news.  Hopefully the worst is over.  I'm glad you were there for them tonight, DR Laura, sounds like they were scared and upset

I would hate to think of them in a cage at the shelter tonight. I am glad I brought them home. Even though it means I have to change the plans I had for tomorrow.

They are across the room from each other sacked out. I am sure when they wake up in the morning, they will be back to normal. I hope.
