DR elmore - Thanks for the matinee report. Will Joshie be put into regular rotation? *Did he get his picture taken in the lobby in front of the "This Performance Conducted By..." board?

I know nothing about any of this.

My first question for ASK BK day.....do you like The Smothers Brothers, did you watch their show?

How many of us remember Jennifer Warnes from The Smothers Brothers?
How many of us remember The Smothers Brothers' sit-com wherein one of them was an angel?

Is Josh as short as he looks standing next to Mr. Urie?

Josh's brother Jeremy, who's playing the baritone sax book in the current tour of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, is also of a diminutive stature.

I would like to add my praise also for INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS.  I watched it Sunday evening and found it to be jaw-droppingly amazing.  The only film of Tarantino's that I revisit on a regular basis is JACKIE BROWN, but this one will definitely be played a lot around here.

Travel vibes to DR JRand's DN - I'd appreciate some for Rob's girlfriend Mary Linda who is driving from Michigan this evening.  I'm trying not to think about the snow showers that they're talking about north of Dayton.

Well, i'm catching up on today's ONE LIFE TO LIVE and when Staci said, "my baby's father is right over there" and pointed to the bar where Rex, the one she's fooling about being the father, and Fish, who is the father, were sitting, I thought I would fall out of bed I was laughing so hard.

Some of the acting on this soap is so much better than any other soap I've watched. So why won't Tad tell Daniella he's her father? I'd slap the shit out of that whiny little bitch if she pulled a gun on me.

What a coincidence! I'm listening to LA BOHEME (Pavarotti, Freni) as I type and travel.

It could be Absinthe...I know some theater people who love this stuff.

Since I don't have the movie in front of me... ::)

With Absinthe, you pour the Absinthe over the sugar cube, which is placed on a silver spoon.

And I'm not sure "love" is the word one would use to qualify one's preference for Absinthe. Just sayin'. ;)

Thank you, DR DAW.  Richard wanted me to tell you 2 things:

1.  Holy Nativity in Lima used some of the liturgy you posted from King's College in their Christmas Eve service.  He wanted to know how you procured the script.

2.  He ordered and has received the first 2 installments in the liturgical mystery series.  He's well into the first one and quite enjoying it.

As most of you know, I like to play my cards close to the vest in terms of upcoming releases.  But, and this is not for publication ANYWHERE - here's a what if for you.  Most of you are aware that Ryko put out Promises, Promises on CD, which was then reissued by Varese five years ago (they just cloned the Ryko issue).  The What if is this: What if I could go in and remix the album and for the first time fix Jerry Orbach's and Edward Winter's pitchy vocals?  I would also include the original album mix - which, I think you'll find interesting, has NEVER been on CD.  I have found out that what Ryko put out was re-mixed and while they had the album as reference, it was remixed and therefore, no matter how close they got it, it is not the same.  I could never figure out why the Ryko was so disappointing to my ears, and now I know why - all new mix, all new EQ.  But the original album masters are in fine shape.  I would like to know your opinions on this.
