And, of course, it's easy to simply remove the post, which I just did.  Hopefully this will truly be bye bye birdie.  What a bitter little baggage it is.  Bah humbug indeed.

Hopefully what I did did the trick.  If not, then I'll contact the board software folks and see what I'm doing wrong.

Well it was a toss-up.  Either suffer from this back pain for another four and a half hours until I got home from church; or take a pill and skip church.

I'm skipping church.

Good decision

I hope you are feeling better soon, TCB. (I don't blame you.)

Again, have no idea who will be here, but the partay will be fun whether two or twenty.  I do know dear readers Noel and singingnymph will be here for sure, and my MGM lady will be here, and Doug Haverty and Adryan Russ will be here but later, the Brain MD, Richard Berent will be here at some point, I think dear reader Sam will drop by, but several of our regulars are out of town this year.  And Karen Morrow did say she'd be here, so I hope she will be.  There could be a LOT of sauce left over this year.

But since I don't ask for RSVPs, who knows.  Oh, and of course dear reader PennyO will be here.

Merry Christmas.  My brother went out and checked the road going to his house and called us to say we should stay put.  So I broiled some salmon, baked some sweet potatoes, steamed some broccoli and we had a nice dinner.

...We stay as far away from Times Square as possible (it may be fun for the first time but it's a MADHOUSE and once is enough).

I feel the same way about making snow angels.  It's fun the first time, but too cold and wet to make it a habit.

Thank you to DR Cillaliz for the beautiful snow angel she shared with us this morning.  I hope there was a big cup of hot chocolate waiting for you inside!

Lots of things are fun the first time. I hope Times Square will be one of them!

So sorry to hear about Bosco. If it's any help, my ancient cat lived to 20 after being diagnosed with thyroid problems when he was 16. He got so good at taking the medication that I could practically throw it across the room for him to catch. We will keep you both in our thoughts. Big hugs!

Hmmm.  Perhaps the Do across the street IS tomorrow - there are now no cars there at all.

Wish we could be at bk's big do. Since we'll be in LA at the end of January, can we schedule a "Do-over"??

Of course we'll have your own personal Do.  Meanwhile, dear reader Sam came by and delivered some cookies, but is quite under the weather, so that's another one down - I may be eating a LOT of food tonight :)  It could just be PennyO and me.

A bonus? That's great. My husband has never received a Christmas bonus. Nor have I.

Christmas bonus?  What's that??

Since I'm self-employed, I really should give myself a Christmas bonus!

I did receive some nice goodies from DR Elmore, and was very happy to read his epiphany!

Well, I need to be going now.  I have to take a shower, get dressed, wrap some presents, pick up my niece from her father's mother's house, pick up my sister from her house and we're all going to our parents' house for our annual Christmas eve do.  We'll do all our gift giving and receiving tonight.  Tomorrow will be a day of resting and eating...and that's about it. :)

HAVE A WONDERFUL AND MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE DAY, EVERYONE!!!!

You, too, George, and thank you for the Christmas card!

Just got in from my one day of Christmas shopping. Yesterday I spent all day getting out review copies of our film in rough cut form. One thing about only having a day to shop is that you make decisions faster. And shopping on Christmas Eve...I thought it would be hell, but actually everything was surprisingly empty.

I usually go to my Dad's Christmas Eve, and split Christmas day between my mom and Greg's parents. This year they will be on 3 separate days, which makes things a little easier since they all involve quite a bit of driving.

Now to wrapping and roasting potatoes. I'm cooking brunch and bringing it to my mom's. It was easier than making my house "company-ready".

I ended up getting sick as soon as I got home but fortunately, it just seems to be a sinus infection and not H1N1. I was a little worried when I had a fever Tuesday night. I'm still keeping my distance from people I like. :-)

well, my hair is still wet, but i reckon I'll hop in the ol' Honda and toodle off over the 405 to the Valley... I have Christmas cookies for a dozen people or more... BK may have to seriously slide off his meager diet, if we don't get a plethora of hungry holiday makers to gobble the feast...

See you in about 45 minutes, kiddo... or an hour and a half, if anyone is on the road... Ah, driving in LA!!
