TV Tidbits:

BETTER OFF TED, the dry, droll comedy show that had a brief first season run last year on ABC, returns for its second season tonight at 9:30 on ABC.

CBS has an all-rerun slate tonight so no new NCIS episode.

But there is a 2 hour SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE starting t 8pm.

DR JENNIFER this is stupid girl I was talking about

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj3iNxZ8Dww

There is no reason for her to be on THE AMAZING RACE with another team of BB castoffs, unless ALL of the teams are some kind of reality "star" or public joke.

TOD - I was a major tv watcher growing up.  I remember watching Bruce as a guest star on many of the shows I watched regularly.  I didn't know his name then but knew his face.

I had several of the CDs he produced and was listening to a Lost in Boston - the one Rupert is on, when all of a sudden "I Love Fish" came on.  It wasn't listed on the CD and I was really at a loss of where it came from...so I emailed Rupert Holmes who wrote back "That's Bruce Kimmel" he told me a bit about Bruce and I did a search that led me to this site.

As soon as I saw the photos I knew he was the guy I saw on TV a lot as a kid.  The rest is history

GREAT NEWS, HAINESHIS WAY:

Vixmom just posted over at FaceBook (with dispensation from her boss to do so) that her petscan results are back...and she's 100% in remission.

This is fantastic news. Yeah!

I am happy to say that I am home.  It's not too bad out yet, lots of snow but the wind hasn't picked up too much yet but could reach 50 mph by tonight. All the schools in the area are now out - if they opened at all.  The worst is supposed to hit this afternoon and tonight.   My court for tomorrow has already been cancelled.

I closed the office a little after 11:00 AM. We could have stayed longer, but I prefer to know that we both made it home safely than to risk it later.  There are already reports of many car accidents.
I did bring home work and have already done a few things via cell and email, but I doubt I'll do much work.   It's just nice to be home

elmore, was it Lila Davis?  I think about her often and wonder how she's doing.

BK, I really cannot remember her last name, but that sounds right. I remember that she was petite, rather pretty, and had dark hair.

Red Press asked all about how you were doing and I told him of your betrayal and treatment of a former label. He was looking at "Christmas Mornings" and I think he was happy to know you were still keeping busy.

We had very high winds in the middle of the night, and our power was out for a few hours. Today I am cleaning up palm tree trash from my yard, which is interesting, because I don't have any palm trees.

DR MattH, I meant to tell you earlier that my old friend Larry Carpenter directed yesterday's episode of ONE LIFE TO LiVE. He did a great job with the Kyle-Fish romance.

No, I knew Avatar is a TINY studio and there would be no room for me, as much as I wanted to be there. There are just no LARGE studios left, sadly.

I was going to do a medley (with a very special arrangement) of the Birthday Song and the Beatles' "Birthday" but I 'm running late so I'll keep it simple:

Happy Birthday to BK
Happy Birthday to BK
Happy Birthday Dear Grand Pooh-bah
Happy Birthday to You
and Many More!

Cason/LACC/The Brain From Planet X my trifecta connection/link to BK

(Cason met Bruce when he did the anniversary gala at LACC and I really got to know him during all the Brain readings and shows -- and then DR Elmo got me to come to HHW after I met him at the Brain premiere at LACC -- and the rest is my E and T gratuitous lurking and posting history)

This is most encouraging because 2009 is a 4 year for MR BK ruled by Uranus.

Uranus ruling BK? Why I'm I not surprised ....

DR Laura -- We had extremely high winds up here in the High Country, too. It was snowing like crazy early yesterday but became heavy rain all afternoon. Last night the power kept going out and coming back on -- then finally went out for good. Didn't came back on til about 7 am -- man, was it cold without heat!! Now it's beautiful out -- lots of sunshine and the couple of inches of snow are melting away ...

My usual MO -- E and T with a brief mini-frenzy but now I gotta scram. Doing costumes for our Family Theatre's Holiday Show and it's .... well, two words: 33 kids -- (with multiple changes!!). They go around the world for holiday customs so I've been knee deep in silk flowers, ribbon, and hot glue making headresses, hats, etc. trying to come up with stuff that will make them look like they're in a different country each time they go on. Hundreds of items and the logistics back stage are gonna be interesting when we start tech tomorrow. The most challenging show I've ever costumed ... Holy Moly!!

Sure is! Joshie is the son I never had and I really love him. He is such a hoot to collaborate with on an arrangement.

AS THE WORLD TURNS will go off the air in September 2010.

They really can't imagine that it's much of a surprise. I'm sorry for the actors this will put out of work, but they have a few months to squirrel away some nuts for winter.

He sure did. I think this must be a first for this kind of male-male intimacy on television, and it was very erotic and engaging.
