We need updates from DR ELMORE.  Is he Twittering?

I'm sure he is twittering.  But I don't think he is Twittering.

If you know what I mean.        :)

TOD:

I've never liked the Horror genre, so can't say what my first viewing was.

I know that my first SciFi flick was Star Wars IV.

I thought I had gotten beyond being afraid when watching a movie......until I sat up late one night many years ago and watched A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET.

I feel like some food but don't feel like venturing out, but if I don't venture out now, I shall have to wait until after two to eat.

Happy Birthday Jane

If we had an X-Ray of Jane, we would probably see:
“Vegetables are all your body needs”, a brilliant ad campaign by JWT for the International Vegetarian Union, which promotes vegetarianism worldwide.

lol-i fear there would be too much chocolate.

thanks for the b-day wishes.

I must remember to print out cookie recipes too.  I think everyone should try all the recipes and send a dozen of each kind of cookies to Jane for today, Bruce for tomorrow, Mikey for later in the week and to Sugar and me (for no reason).  I could help Sugar eat the cookies.   ;)

Time to catch up on posts, walk Sugar again, and hope it really rains today like it's supposed to.

PLEASE DON'T! ;D

I watched BROTHERS & SISTERS before I headed out for lunch. It brought me to tears a couple of times, but some of those plots are SO telegraphed. (Who wants to bet that Nora will lose all the money she invested? He either steals the money or the concept goes bust.)

I got so furious when Kitty got the results over the phone and refused to share them with Robert that I almost cut the TV off and vow never to watch the show again. How MANY times do the lazy writers on this show have to resort to such a RIDICULOUS plot contrivance?

When I got in from lunch, I watched G-FORCE. Better than the made-for-home video BUDDIES movies, that's for sure, but it's still for young kids and members of the ritalin generation. There were some laughs, but reliance on things like fart jokes and references to culture references like McGyver and Die Hard and Terminator kept it at arm's length for me. Famous voices in the cast like Penelope Cruz and Tracy Morgan and Steve Buscimi didn't always make for a felicitous group and the mix of live action and CG animation was handled pretty well.

I got all of the bonus features watched except all of the Cine-Explore commentary with all of the inserted video tangents. I watched about a half hour of that. None of the other bonuses were very long at all. Most were 4-5 minutes long. They were all in HD, though. That's nice to see that.
