My friend Marc Acito is doing well; he and his partner are buying a co-op on Lexington and 36th Street.

Is anyone else watching Christmas in Rockefeller Center?

Darn it!  Would have watched or taped it if I had known it was on!

His partner must be doing VERY well.  On Marc's blog, he is always complaining about how he makes no money as an author!

It's not on for another hour and a half, here on the west coast.  I could record it for you...if you'd like. :)

Oh thanks, George.  Awfully kind of you.  I'm sure it's not worth the trouble.

It's no trouble at all...and besides, you've recorded many things for me. :-*

I liked it when Peg and Bunny talked about taking the Mexican Avenue bus.

George - how about this - you take a look at it.  If it's wretched, don't bother.  Otherwise, thank you!!!    :)

Much "high drama" in the office the past couple of days.

Some amusing, some appalling.

All involving "one certain" person (who qualifies as "people", derBrucer, yes indeedy).

I'm biding my time...I have, after today, FOUR MORE WORKDAYS in 2009!

That's right!  Four (count'em FOUR).

Ha!  I got ya beat--I'm outta here on Friday!

Ha, I say!

Ha, Ha I Say!

I have you both beat because I've been outta there since Wednesday, November 25th. I don't got no work days left for 2009!!!

Did I mention that it's all vacation time and at full pay/benefits?

You didn't till now but so is mine.

Finished the editing road map - I think this will be fun when it's put together, and boy did I have fun coming up with the cue titles - you'll understand why when you know what it is.  This will please our genre fans.

Great song on GLEE followed by shocking discovery....and it's ugly aftermath.

Well, tonight's program won't disappoint you, then.  Jane Krakowski and The Muppets were the most genuine performers in the bunch  ::)

Watched MARKED WOMAN on TCM.  Haven't seen it since I was a kid.  Tough good movie with a terrific Bette Davis performance.  And her five women co performers are also great....especially Lola Lane!

Good movie.  It's based on the Lucky Luciano case.

...was sort of in the mood for some veggie-heavy for dinner...

Well, in spite of my carnivore bluster, one of my favorite dishes at Marie Callender's was:

Vegetable Platter With Melted Cheese
A selection of fresh broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash, baby carrots, potatotes and mushrooms steamed until tender

Served with your choice of garlic bread or cornbread.

der Brucer

Please don't tell Jane

One of her really electrifying underrated performances.

I watched a bit of THE PETRIFIED FOREST in HD, and it looked gorgeous.
