Managed to finish GOTTERDAMMERUNG. Oy and vey, and also vey and oy. Also did my next to last review for DVDTalk today, a completely charming film I especially recommend to BK, as I think it may remind him quite a bit of the Kritzer books. It's a British film, directed by Paul Weiland, called "66" (or alternatively "Sixty Six," and no, I'm not kidding), starring Helena Bonham Carter. She plays the mother of a little boy who has the misfortune to have his Bar Mitzvah on the day in 1966 that England for the one and only time made the World Cup Finals in soccer.
