I sorked this morning - it was fun, especially at my age.

I have had a busy day so far, Went to the Farmer's Market, stopped at Home Depot and then installed a new wired door bell and installed the undercabinet lights in my kitchen.   I love the lights.  The doorbell doesn't work much better than the last one - the wires are ancient and I think that's the problem

Ok, now I'm going to go and start refinishing the school desk I was given by the Re-Store. I'm fixing it up for my great nephew.  I'm going to paint the base and chair and then paint the desktop with eraseboard paint so he can write on it with the special markers and wipe it off.   I think that would be really cool.

We took trips to visit my grandparents a lot - they were about 4 hours from us.  The first REAL tril that I got to go (they left me with a babysitter when I was really young) was when I was 7 and we went to Yellowstone.

I hope DS Craig's move is going well, AND SAFE, today.  I say safe as he has to drive to DC, unload and drive back to Philly.

In that case, wouldn't a wireless doorbell work better?

I have returned from helping Marnie print, assemble, and bind a vocal score and a full orchestra score for Life Begins at 8:40, which I shall Fed Ex on Monday to the LoC contractor for the reading. That will provide Tommy Krasker of PS Classics with a full score for the reading and a vocal score for one of the "guests."

Never have I been on a project with so much angst and rudeness in the past week. I will have more to say when it's over.

I trust you will invoice for the extra work. (Not that they'll pay it)

TOD:

During the summer before I turned 8, my aunt and uncle took me and my cousin on a lengthy road trip up the North Carolina coast to see Kitty Hawk and Manteo, and then we proceed from there to Jamestown, Williamsburg, and then RIchmond. We were gone the better part of two weeks.

I figured out later it was to see what kind of traveler I'd be at such a young age since that Christmas was my first trip to NYC.

Is Kitty Hawk really a big bird like the one in the Sherman and Peabody episode on ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE? The Wright Brothers are local boys from Dayton!

No, but I remember that very well!

It is very hot and humid here. The skies darkened for awhile, but it's back to being sunny again.

I got three UNTOUCHABLES episodes watched. Again, a great raft of guest stars in these shows: Arthur Hill, Harold J. Stone, Simon Oakland, and many more (I left my notes downstairs, so I can't remember them all).

Guess you're not worried about high surf and riptides

I have five more episodes and then I'll be finished with THE UNTOUCHABLES. I doubt I'll request any of the other boxes of it for review. The show is pleasant, but very repetitive. I can see why it only ran 4 years where something like PERRY MASON ran 9.

I watched the first half of last night's PSYCH. It's an OK episode but again, not enough of Sean's "talent" is utilized in the show (at least thus far). James Brolin is the primary guest star this week.

Our doorbell goes, "Dink, Donk."

Sounds like the start of a Latin verb conjugation.

That was a quick internet surf for me! I'm heading back down now to finish up with THE UNTOUCHABLES.

Well, I am stopping everything right now - I haven't stopped since this morning and this is NOT what I had in mind for today, so that's IT.  I'm packed, I've banked, I've erranded and whatnotted and I'm going to get something to eat right now before I fall over and then I am not doing anything else.
