Good morning, all! I had a horrible night of poor sleep, but I reckon that means perhaps a good one tonight. I'm really sick of all this crap. My first jaunt this morning is to Pearl Paint on Canal Street to exchange some tape and then a meeting at Toyland. After that, it's back here for more work and some phone calls on THE MOST HAPPY FELLA.
My mother loved novelty songs, so we learned them direct from World War 2. The ones she sang the most were "Mairzy Doats" and the one about the thee 'iddle fiddies who swam and swam all over the dam. From the 50s, I remember the big Sheb Wooley ones: "Chipmunk sng," "Witch Doctor" and "Purple People Eater," but the one I really loved was the "Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini."
