There's only an hour and a half left today, but there are still two more Summer Streets Saturdays to go here in New York City.

Do they want you to show up for the wedding and reception?

At least for the reception.  But, then again, I didn't realize I was (also) invited.

My Mom called again this morning at 10:00 to tell me that the wedding was indeed at 11:00.  Well, there was no way I could have made it out there in an hour.  So...

Update: I just found the place and proper address of the wedding site.  It's in West Orange, NJ.  It's not off the PATH of NJ Transit trains.  However, it is accessible by a bus from Port Authority, and according to the current bus schedule, it would take 2 hours and 3 minutes to get there.  Ah, well...

Saturday morning greetings!  Rob and Mary Linda are here for the weekend.  We're all trying to coordinate our agendas for the day - shopping, checking on John, etc.

DR Miss Karen - Much like you it seems, that the easiest way for me to answer today's Topic of the Day query would be to list what I did not like.  ;)

*And now that I've thought about, there was one thing I tried once and only once: Black Licorice Ice Cream.  It sure did taste very licorice-y, but it also turned my lips, teeth and tongue black.

Last one, I promise:

a Brown Cow (it's like a root beer float but it's all blended up so it's like a milk shake in texture/consistency)

Oh and Cow Tails.....caramel with white sugar filling.  I found a bag the other day at Family Dollar and took it to the theatre.  They are all gone now.

Jose, if you had been invited, you would have received your own invitation. You are too old to be included in your parents' invitation. I say you are off the hook.

Hostess Cupcakes
Hawaiian Punch

Hawaiian Punch, I forgot all about that.  I was never a fan of Hostess Cupcakes & never heard of Tastykakes until we move to Pennsylvania.

And speaking of Monkey...

Did you and Monkey ever make it to Philly?

Speaking of Monkey.......Before I went to Philly, Keith and I went to Bryan's wedding in Chicago.  We spent a few extra days before the wedding visiting, sightseeing & shopping.  While in the Build-A-Bear store Keith wanted to get Monkey an outfit.  I wasn't sure Monkey could fit into the larger outfits & I didn't find a top I liked.  What size does Monkey wear?

I'm sure that when I wrote the birthday cheer it made sense to me, but it sure doesn't now.

I think I was the only person enjoying the heat in Philly.  It was a bit chilly the last couple of days in Chicago.  Fortunately we had a nice clear day on Sunday, the day of the wedding.

I had a FANTASTIC time!
