DR MattH, there is A LOT more Phillip3 on Tuesday's US Y&R (no rafe and adam although they are previewed for US wed).

I thought tuesday's show was one of the best in a while (although last friday's was good too).

I had read this was going to be a red letter day, so I'm looking forward to watching it. Thanks for the preview.

Good morning!

Another humid, hot day here with more temps in the 90s. Ugh!

Unless something comes in the mail today, it's going to be another day off for me. I see no need of doing REPULSION on Blu-ray so far away from its street date (and since I did do the DVD, there's a review up already, and with such a wonderful video transfer, I expect the Blu-ray will be equally as good if not more so with the increased resolution.)

I do have last night's RAISING THE BAR and MY LIFE ON THE D-LIST I can watch (though I suspect I'll save D-LIST for WEdnesday at lunch time).

I'd like to do another Warner Archive set, maybe a Tarzan or IDIOT'S DELIGHT with Shearer and Gable.

And there is a stack of Blu-rays I can pick from, too, as well as some Christmas present DVDs unwatched as yet (PETE KELLY'S BLUES springs immediately to mind).

I'm up - very noisy this morning.  When I first heard the noise I was in a dream and thought it was happening at eleven at night and in the dream I was already out the door and on my way over there.  Then I woke up.

I hope it does not get cut off due to the michael jackson coverage.

Since you're not really involved yet in the other storylines probably only the end will interest you.

TOD:

Well, I'd love to have that one favorite LP of mine that's never been ported over to CD:

STARS OF THE SILVER SCREEN 1928-1930 with songs from George Jessel, Fanny Brice, Everett Marshall, John Boles, Bebe Daniels, Gloria Swanson. They aren't soundtrack excerpts. They were studio recordings of songs they sang in early sound movies.

Very interesting things this morning, at least for the likes of me.  First of all, since last night, I was not seeing my roadrunner home screen - it was completely white.  I checked everything but still white.  This morning same thing.  Then I went into the other room and turned on the TV - and got a message saying that DirecTV hasn't been able to make a daily call for over ninety days.  Odd that - certainly predating the switch to the new TV.  I called them, but their system is updating so they asked me to call back in a few hours for troubleshooting.  When I'd previously seen this message I tried the phone setting test, which failed.  Wasn't getting a dial tone.  So, I tried it again today - same thing.  Then I realized that when I have messages in voice mail, it gives me a broken tone signal and call in devices don't get a straight dial tone (I learned this when trying to add postage to the Pitney Bowes machine).  So, I cleared the messages and tried again.  This time it got dial tone but I got the message "phone in use" - that made no sense.  So, I went in and looked at the access number it was dialing - same as always.  I decided to choose another - and that's where I realized what the problem was.  In giving me the choices for the new call-in number it asked if I just wanted to use the number or the area code and the number or 1 plus the area code and the number.  Well, duh - ninety days ago they made it so that we in the Valley have to actually dial our own area code to make a local call.  Bingo.  So, I set it up to dial 1 plus the area code, did the test, test worked, and finally it was able to update.  Problem solved all by myself.  So empowered, I came back to my computer and saw the white roadrunner home screen.  I cleared the Safari cache and logged on again - bingo - got my home screen!  Jose will be proud of me.

Of course. Robert Tucker was an opera singer (I think) who died in the early 80's

Hi, all.  Well, hell week has begun in earnest.  Sitzprobe last night.  Dress tech tonight, then invited audience dress tomorrow and Thursday and our opening on Friday.  Pray for Rosemary's Baby--I'm dealing with a director who has never done a musical before and does not seem to get that in a musical you want to treat the band (not to mention the MD) with at least a little respect.

Good Afternoon!

And as Michael Jackson's casket has just been placed in front of the stage at the Staples Center... And as NBC - and probably the other networks (hastily) removed the network banner along the bottom of the screen...
