I just saw a pilot that Miss Bette Davis made in 1965 for a television series called the Decorator.  I am not sure what anyone involved with the project was thinking....or drinking.

No she was redecorating Ed Begley's house....and she wanted it a bit less Texas!  Her assistant played by Miss Mary Wickes stood around a lot smiling and shaking her head at her boss' wacky antics.

I got down to Columbus Circle around 11:15, and then spent the next hour or so walking leisurely down Broadway, taking care of errands along the way (drug store, bank, post office, etc.).  I even got to spend a couple of minutes in, on and around the new TKTS booth.  Those steps certainly are RED!

And now... I think we have 180 people signed up to sing this afternoon.  So far...

I agree with what DR Jose and other DRs have said about jogging vs walking. And about eating little meals throughout the day (vs one meal of the day).

It literally made me cringe when i read that after the chicken soup anyone would even think of not eating again for the rest of the day.

Although i wonder if walking and eating a bunch of little meals would have the same effect on someone who doesn't really have much more weight to lose. I do think it sounds a lot healthier.

I hope the true romantics here at HHW have read Han Suyan's book A MANY-SPLENDORED THING, which makes the movie even better....

And Jennifer Jones and William Holden make such an attractive couple - and their culture clash and eventual, inevitable, affair make this one of my favorite romantic movies ever.....

Jennifer Jones with William Holden (or Jennifer Jones with Gregory Peck)....wow!

My niece (3) stayed over again saturday night. She seems to make her own decisions. And again on saturday afternoon she begged her parents to let her have another sleepover.

Only problem is she finds it hard to leave.
