I'm watching some of the War Games extras - had no idea that Martin Brest had been the original director and had, in fact, begun shooting the film.

Well, I guess more like 10:20-ish. Still, not bad time.

great story DR EDISAURUS....

Congrats to MR BK on another success at LACC.

I wonder if DR CILLA LIZ went to spend the evening with George and Martha.  Sad Sad Sad.

No, I'm with Leopold and Loeb.  Decided to stay home and read my book. I just wasn't in the mood for George and Martha tonight.

I'm thinking about taking a hot bath and putting on my pajamas, then curling up under a blanket with my book.

Hmm, better take my umbrella on Monday, I guess...

I'm home.  :)

And I'm currently listening to my parents and aunt and uncle telling cute and embarrassing stories about me from my childhood. :D

Like the story where your face froze on a double-scoop vanilla ice cream and someone took a picture?

I know someone said it before, but I really do start thinking you're eating a new ice cream cone every time you post.  :)  :)

Actually, I took that picture.  It's a self portrait with two scoops of ice cream and a cone.

*Although, if I can find it and scan it, there's a great picture of me eating, well "wearing", a blueberry pie. :)

So, now my uncle has started telling stories from his medical practice.  He's a gastroenterologist, so he deals with issues "down there".  He just finished telling us about a patient who swore that the treatment that my uncle prescribed for him was not working at all.  The punchline to the story...

...Did you take the foil off the suppository first?

I missed the opening of SNL. I turned it on when William Shattner was going on about Priceline.  Did I miss an election skit?

I'm trying to watch Sleeping Beauty, but I must say I find the film insufferably boring.

So, tomorrow, after Mass, it looks like we may be heading down to Williamsburg for the day, or I may just end up showing my parents (and my aunt and uncle and their son) around Richmond.  My parents have lived here for almost a year at this point, but they still haven't really explored the city.  It would also be a good chance to show my Dad some of the shortcuts to the hospital where my Mom is having her surgery, as well as places around there to eat and shop.

*Although, I think my Mom actually wants to make a run to the outlet mall just outside of Williamsburg before she checks in to the hospital on Monday.  ;)

You may have found out by now, but it's a repeat of the season opener with Michael Phelps, so... You only need to watch the opening, and the final two skits.  ;)

I didn't watch it when it was on and the skit I just saw...well not sorry about that.
