Before you clicked on the correct letter of the alphabet to find a person's name.  Now is is easier to see the names & info, however, the larger print created pages & pages per letter.  It can take a long time to find a name.

We have way too many members who have never posted & I doubt will ever post.  I'm in favor of removing some of these.

In the "What Were They Thinking?" dept:

My mom's church sent her a flyer and a set of raffle tickets to sell for its upcoming Fall Bazaar.  The grand prize for the raffle is a MasterCard gift certificate in the amount of $6,660.00.

Mom was thinking of sending it to Jay Leno.  I'm betting that half the parish probably beat her to it.

I just came back from a lunchtime trip to Borders to buy my sister a birthday gift.  I picked up the latest GODFATHER release.  I'm pretty sure she never got the version that came out about five years ago.

Also, made a spontaneous purchase of the latest James Taylor CD, COVERS.  He does "Suzanne" on it, which is one of my favorite Leonard Cohen songs.

I've landed in NY safely, thanks to the vibes!

I'm waiting for the director to call me to give me the plans for this weekend. Looks like Saturday we will be busy all day, but don't know anything about the rest of the weekend yet.

Now I'm making friends with the kitty I'll be taking care of while i'm here. She's a Himilayan...I've never been around one of those before. I can't imagine taking care of that sort of downy cat fur on a daily basis. Must be a lot of work! She's a sweet kitty with a completely flat face.

Good Afternoon!

Well, we had a very full morning. We were busy, but not hectic. And it turned out to be a very nice, pleasant and talented group of men/male singers.

I cannot post from bed, but I'm only four feet away from my bed, so it's a short trip to get back in should I be so inclined.

I have much of last night's TV on my DVR cache and it needs watching/purging.

I really enjoyed "Ugly Betty" last night....up to a point.  Too much seemed to happen too quickly in the final 15 minutes.

Does anyone know if our HHW God status will be returning? I would think it's a simple text change. I mean, what would MISS KAREN do? She'd have to hand out medals instead of togas. Not exactly the HHW image, IMHO.

Miss Karen will have her hands full trying to figure out where we went, I think.

Not trying to violate the HHW gag order, but I thought some of you might want to know about this opportunity Monday to visit the town where I work

ABC's "Battleground Bus Tour" to Start in Dayton

Hmm, my route home takes me along the other side of the river.  Wonder if I should find an alternate route for Monday...

I just got a fun new box of DVDs and Blu-Rays to review--Blu's of the new Indiana Jones, a Lorin Maazel concert and La Traviata, and DVDs of One Touch of Venus and some Prime Suspect-esque BBC series.  And it's a cold and rainy day here, so absolutely perfect for lounging in front of a tv.  :)
